I haven't forgotten about Kitty. Far from it. I am still a big fan of her special thing; ultra-glam, high-maintenance elegant, stylish and sophisticated.
I actually appreciate Kitty's image aesthetic far more than the teeny-college look the majority of the Russian studios seem to be chasing at present. RPSN with the divine Lika Gold one of the rare exceptions (RPSN reported just this week that Lika and RPSN are set to recommence shooting imminently).
I am still to catch up with her last scene. Cyber Shot's astounding rapidfire 4-in-a-row, plus Valentina Milan releasing a wild new scene in that same period made me miss it for lack of credit Jan/Feb. But it's on my list, and now that Cyber Shot may not be shooting for some extended period (being realistic, I strongly doubt anything will appear until after the summer now, such is 'the situation') Kitty catch up time is overdue.
Re RPSN, I wonder if Kitty has an interest in shooting with them? They clearly don't have access to the production values of the NRX debut Kitty scenes, neither shooting budget nor fees budget. But perhaps there is a way around that by giving Kitty a percentage of sales on top of standard fee or something. If RPSN sticks to standard budget but it sells big, then Kitty gets first dip into the extra sales income.
But they do great glamour. More so than any other studio here I think. Lika always looks stunning with her towering heels and stockings, her glitter and sparkle make up, and her mixing up of silky/sheer and fetish costumes. Kitty could have a ball playing dress up there.
Whereas I can't help feeling the NRX shooting process ('processing') may be pretty rigid and prescriptive in many instances ('these scenes - in this order - doing these aacts - wearing these costumes: sign on the dotted line').
One thing for certain is that CZ is now f*cked for Russian performers for the long-forseeable.
Re Kitty's glamour thing, though I am not a huge fan of their action (it's lightweight), I am a fan of the Marc Dorcell product in terms of styling. Kitty would really fit in there. Anna Polina (another glamour queen) moved to Dorcell after scenes here.
Is Dorcell French? Am not sure what their visa policy is atm, but I think it's generally the bitter and twisted Balkans and Former-Soviet countries that have the worst policy re admitting Russian performers, so France may be entirely do-able?
Anyway, it would be lovely to see her more. Kitty is a star.
