I think escorting, webcam and [spam] are crowded marketplaces and a woman needs to promote herself to build a fanbase to generate consistent income. Becoming a published model on major porn websites is a way to gain attention and advertise her charms.

I think escorting, webcam and [spam] are also probably usually less money per hour than porn, but steady work and a woman can work as much as she wants, when and where she wants, and charge as much as she wants and can get.

Average now is over 1800$ for me, but the concept of "normal" doenst mean anything, technically any model/agency can ask how much she wants and its up to the producer to agree or not (someone uses the other way around, something like "I have this budget", this means most of the time the model is underpaid).

Cut of the agency is paid from the producer: 20%. Its true the model pay agency fees to the agency as well, but she get benefits (Fly Tickets, Accomodations, Driver, etc.) at the end of the year there is no profit on this.
Also you need to understand that to scout a exclusive model cost in average 3000-4000$
The 2006-2016 era was characterized by very well done recruiting of unknown models, now most of so called "recruiters" are digging social network for models that are already in the industry. A bunch of parasites that they even consider this thought almost "aggressive" and "not educated". Fuck them.

Now when you scout a model and she makes a social account, she gets hammered from any side from what i call "social hookers" (use search in the forum, I wrote already about this), Its almost pointless for a model agency to scout a model as you need to fight for keep her working for you.
