I'm completely clueless about these things. Prostitution is illegal where I'm from.

I'm just speculating that with porn having become much more advanced during the last decade or so, customer demand for these things would likely increase as well.

I dont know Kate Quinns decision process, but I guess she just couldn't get enough work with softcore anymore. Maybe agency told her how market situation looks like and she fellowed their advice.
