Love GIO as much as it seems you do, but not impressed recently (Or for a while now actually) many of the "upper management" decisions are questionable to say the least. The product on screen is a matter of personal preference, and thus will vary from user to user, month to month, ect. To get an idea of what a company is up to internally or where they're going in the future, gotta take a look at the "executive decisions" & judge from there.

Could it be that the old stars vs. rookies ratio run out of hand a bit in February?
I personally like so many DAPbreakin's, but you also said 2nd and 3rd DAPs usually sell much better.
Looks a bit like running out of new girls scenes end 2019 and thus lots of grown GIO stars scenes in January, and than in Feb. 2020 almost no old GIO stars left, but shelling out the newly shot.

Is that because of the Xmas releases ? I bought a lot of stuff in January as there were quite a few instant buys on offer. But personally speaking trying to econonize since then.

If only a small number of ladies are popular, sounds like you should tempt the viewers more with special offers. Why don't you have a discount for the first 200 purchases of something like that when you have a new star ?

Personally I think a lot about spending 5 tickets on anything smaller than a significant gang bang (or a really popular US pornstar). For example I don't mind spendng 5/6 tickets for Rebel Rhyder 3 on 1 gangbang with either lots of piss or cum. But to spend the same on an unknown acrtress I will not do it straight away. I will wait around and look out for reviews before I buy it. I am sure there must be others like me. So I think you need to have more attractive pricing for items that you think are watchable but not selling.

The other thing that would help sell shoots if you have more detailed categories (and users are given achance to add categories). Some people like certain little fetishes that are not described in your scenes. For example coming on nostrils might be a fetish and might be enough to be an instant buy, but how will the potential viewer find out. Other categories like post-cum head and deepthroating a pissing cock might be enough to clinch the sale.

I don't think it's that simple :
- first, we need to know about the overall LP sales on January and February. If people spent a lot in January they would have most likely spend less in february...
- second, other studios and especially IV have put of specifically successful scenes in February.
- finally, GIO has released lots of newbies / simple scenes lately while January was full of popular models doing special crazy stuff. I'd say GIO has to find the good balance between them. Simpler newbies scenes are necessary to make them popular !

From 187 LP releases up to 26 Feb 2020, GIO and GIO Labs had 3 of the top 10 scenes, 17 of the top 30, and 40 of the top 100.

I don't know what January looks like, or what Giorgio's usual share is of LP sales. But February sales share looks quite healthy to me.

So if Giorgio is unhappy, then either his February sales were a big share of a lower than expected sales value, or he is looking at profitability and isn't seeing the returns he hoped for on some scenes.
We customers don't have any data beyond a simple "best-sellers" list, so we can't really deduce anything meaningful.

Also, Giorgio is looking at his sales figures across the whole paying customer base. This forum is just a few posters writing about what they personally like or dislike.

Porn is an emotional purchase, if you are a "normal" customer that purchase 5-7 scenes/month, you buy what you like only. Also to buy more scenes you need more time to watch them, for this reason I think who wants to have the best "masturbation time", chose the best content (of course accodingly to his personal taste) even if a bit more expensive

Of course, I just meant some scenes cost more to make, so they will need bigger sales before you get a nice profit.

So a 1x1 with a Russian new girl maybe can show a nice profit without necessarily being a #1 "best seller" in the month,

but a big scene with an expensive imported American talent might really need to be a best seller before you get a nice profit.

Of course, for us fans, profits are none of our business I was just idly speculating why you say you are unhappy even though many of your scenes were top sellers within the month of February.

And as you say, different people visit the site to buy different things, which is hard to predict month-by-month.

Thanks for your reply, Gio... I think if people pay a monthly membership to receive 48 tokens, considering the average price of 5 tokens by scene, they will buy just 9 to 10 scenes by month... It's very expensive because the 48 tokens by month is not enough
