You are correct, go on any year (including this year) and there are scenes with 2 or more girls on the first page in every year, they sell very well, especially when you have a great pairing which isn't exactly hard, too many hot performers to choose from.

Luckily there is so many scenes with 2 or more girls for me to enjoy, it will take me a long time to catch up on all the older scenes i haven't watched yet and so mnay to enjoy again on a rewatch but i would still like more being made like in past years.

Hoping for more 2 and 3 (or more) girl scenes in 2020.

Some of my favorite scenes of all time are with 2 or 3 girls. Like the 'Outnumbered', 'Perversions', 'Clockwork', 'Monsters', 'Take No Prisoners' scenes. So many 5-star top scenes that I love watching multiple times!

I try to support my preference by always buying scenes with 2+ girls, and cutting back on scenes with only 1 girl. But I'm only one person...
