I always find it fascinating, when a girl/woman who is well-known from TV and some kind of prominent, takes the step from a "normal" career to entering the porn business. That´s what I call "From PROM to PORN" (vice versa "From PORN to PROM" is also possible, see two examples below).
Knowing a girl/woman already, maybe over years, and then all of a sudden seeing her in hardcore porn scenes, is incredible hot! (Of course I´m not talking about worldwide famous celebrities. That didn´t happen in the past and won´t happen in the future - apart from some lame sextapes.)
Yesterday I discovered the Malena thread (full name: Malena la Pugliese). In her "previous life" as a reality TV star/moderator in Italy she was known as Milena Mastromarino. I´m from Germany. When I think of "From PROM to PORN" two examples come to my mind (maybe some older (German) guys will remember...). The first one is Sibylle Rauch. She was Playboy Playmate of the Month and played a role in the "Eis am Stiel" Series as "normal" actress. Though these movies were pretty stupid (with some soft sex elements), they were a big success all around the world (I guess, the international title outside of Germany was "Lemon Popsicle", but I´m not sure). Anyway, Sibylle Rauch was quite famous in Germany and it was a sensation - and scandal! - when she started performing in porn. She got 100.000 D-Mark for three scenes in her first movie "Born for love", which was a lot of money in the 80´s (and still is...). She even did some porn scenes together with her sister Silvie Rauch, who wasn´t as famous as Sibylle but still known from TV. So to say "the early Dellai Sisters".

The second - even older - example for "From PROM to PORN" is Karin Schubert. She was also a "normal" actress and appeared in some Italian Action and Western movies, later in the 70´s she played a role in the soft porn series "Emanuelle". Then she took the final step to porn. I was too young when this happened, but later I discovered what a scandal that was.

Now let´s go the other way around: "From PORN to PROM". Sibel Kekilli played the leading role in the 2004 released movie "Gegen die Wand" (international title: "Head-On"). The movie and Sibel himself won many awards across Europe. Only then - after the premiere and the awards - the German newspaper BILD revealed, that Sibel shot some porno movies years ago. That was a huge scandal and a topic in the newspapers for weeks. Apart from that: Sibel Kekilli is German-Turkish and you can imagine how she was "massacred" by the patriarchal men of the Turkish community in Germany... It was a hard time for her, but she handled it very cool. Now she´s an actress with a big reputation and plays - amongst other projects - a leading role in Germany´s most popular crime series "Tatort". Needless to say, that every horny man and porn lover in Germany searched fo her porn scenes...

Finally two international examples outside of Germany.
Cicciolina did some really nasty porn stuff in the 80´s. Later she married the famous artist Jeff Koons and became a politician under her real name Ilona Staller. She even was five years in the Italian Parlament.

Farrah Abraham is an US reality TV star. She was in some kind of a relationship with well-known porn actor James Deen.
