What is going on with LP download speeds?

Did you guys suddenly grew in popularity that are having trouble keeping up decent download speeds?

Internet service provider issues?

Computers blew up?

What is going on, it's been several weeks with a painfully slow download and stream speed.

Right now is really bad, I can't even begin to download todays release with the lovely Florane Russell.

Is it really viable to allow streams?
Those people download the movies, basically every time they want to watch a movie,

Instead of just downloading it once and watch it several times from a hard drive.

Like, even the forum is taking a HUGE amount of time to load,
considering is just mostly ALL TEXT. (Like even in dial-up era that loaded faster)

We will take a closer look very soon. Right now most devs are in holidays. We are using CDN's all over the world to deliver those files. There is always a region that has network issues at any given time but we will look for other issues.

This is crazy. I am on my second day trying to download to 2 files. I get 20 MB/s with EvilAngel and here it is 200KB/s. Have a 400MB/s line.

4K downloads keep failing on my end at around 60-70%, sometimes even at 90%, unable to resume, it's taking a toll not only on my bandwidth but my patience is at its limit, as well. My internet at 1.5MBs isn't the fastest but I checked everything on my end running smoothly, I recently downloaded several games that I purchased from Steam that were between 50-150 GB per game with no problem whatsoever. I have no issues downloading from other sites also. It's only here on LP where download speed is throttled resulting in failure during the last few months I would say dating back to mid November, things were working fine before then. I've tried to be patient but it's at the point where I feel like some sort of compensation, such as a premium tkt reup, is due for all the download problems I've had the last few months, it seems the servers on your end are either broken/or need a massive update of some sort. I am located in California.

East Coast As well, Have been having this exact issue for a month. Feels like half download fine, half can not be downloaded. This is happening with most old files, and even brand new ones for me, including Lili Sommer SZ2136 and Angel Piaff GIO897. This is the only big complaint I have about LP, I never know if I will be able to download the file until I have already paid for it. My recent purchases is a graveyard of files I was unable to download right now.


The really weird part is that if you cancel the downloads and then start them again, the files will download at full speed up until the point it already reached. so if a 10gb file, and I let it slowly download at 200-400kps until it hits 2gb and then cancel it, it will download at full speed 12 mbs or so for me until it hits 2gb, and then back to 200-400 kps. This happens, even when I switch the network location to another hard drive and delete all temp files in between downloads. I've tested this on two different PCs, on different internet connections, from two different isp's to the same result.

I saw some good speeds (10-11Mbps) just before Xmas. But it really does SUCK ROCKS now... cerca 200kbps for the most part, over both fiber and cable connections. I typically see, also, that after 16 or 17 hours or so the download disconnects... prior to having downloaded 100%. I'm guessing that the CDN has an expiry that is too tight for the reality of the poor pipe performance.

It's very frustrating... great content but piss-poor fulfillment is not a winning formula.

Which leads to my question. My initial membership period is about to end.

I am leaning against renewing precisely due to the problem with downloads. My question is whether I will have access to Pornbox for some grace period if I let the membership expire? At the rate things are going. I expect to use up my remaining credits but not be able to download one or two items I've paid for with those credits.

Just a small sample of the piss poor download service of this site I've been enduring the last couple of months - I've attempted to download the 4K file for sz1944 several times in the last couple of days, it has failed 4 times at 9 GB, 11GB, 13 GB and 10 GB, unable to resume each time. I have 1.5MBs internet w/1TB cap per month, the wasted bandwidth and time trying to download something I paid for is not appreciated. I am experiencing failed downloads not only with sz1944 but with pretty much every scene. I just downloaded a video game from Steam at 70 GB without any problems. LP, please get your shit together. I apologize for rude language but it is becoming frustrating.

I never really got over 1MB/s in average. I gave up on 4k, so I can throw my 4k TV out of the window. Mostly Europe, but traveling all over the world.

Once you paid for the scene, you can view it or download it forever. Regardless of the status of your membership.

Membership gives you tickets monthly.

Also gives you access to older scenes for free and ability to reload tickets. That is if you need more tickets WITH your membership.

You keep all the tickets and scenes even if your membership ends. You can spend them later. And as for the scenes, you can download or stream them forever, they are yours once you buy them.

Please, test the speed on your side now, do you still have an issue with download speed.
If the issue still exists, please start to download some video and provide the next info to us:
- Your IP
- screenshot from speedtest.net with the speed of your internet connection
- Screenshot with your download speed
- Scene name and File Format that you was trying to download
- Your Geo information (Country, City)

All this information will be forwarded to the CDN provider for investigation.

I was writing you a PM...

but via PM I can't attach pictures so I can't show you the speed test results and the other info you wanted.

My ISP provides me with 20 Megabytes of download and upload.

At the moment I was downloading a video from the LP servers at a average speed of 10 MB per second.
(the download speed was moving between 8-19 MB/s)
Worth mentioning is that I was using Internet Download Manager with just one connection.

(There is a significant chance to having to redo the whole download
when I choose to use more connections, due to corruption errors)

I was using 8 connections for last video I purchased 2 days ago and it was an average speed of 1.5 MB/s

So yeah, it improved.

That 10 MB/s speed I got today is much higher than what I was getting from LP in the previews weeks.
I'm OK with that speed, although I'll keep an eye for this, because of the time of day and week,
could be things that affect how it behaves.

If I don't post more messages here in the next coming weeks I guess it was fixed.

Wow you're getting MB speeds consider yourself lucky. I'm getting KB speeds!

....Looks like we're back to the same crap again. After it being fine for about 2 whole days, its back to the same awful speeds. I even waited a couple of extra days to type this as i wanted to see if day or time mattered....NOPE.

Now the down load STARTS great (fluctuating somewhere between 7-9 MB..acceptable), then after the first minute, rapidly starts to drop (fluctuating between 200-400 KB...UNACCEPTABLE).

My connections work fine at any other site I visit. Seriously this has been going on long enough now!! Fix it!
