Do you agree or disagree?
Saint Petersburg did seem to be the new Prague or Budapest until the industry was pushed out.

But i think the "banning of porn" by Putin is a secoundary factor. This is more about how the business is runned. There are still plenty of russian, ukranian beauties but most of them only do soft (for Metart, Beauty Angels, Teenporn Storage and similar sites). For some reasons it is more financially beneficial to import girls from the US in LP. Which doesn`t make any freaking sense at all. But as i said; It is the business that made it this way. 98 percent of all new teenage girls in porn are from the USA. This will hopefully change soon again because i prefere girls from east europe.

I am a big fan of yours as an actor and the scenes where you were an actor are just stunning (I love your Roxy scene for exemple but so many that it would be too much to mention all of them, ok one more Spicy LOL)
Anyway, I have nothing at all against Putin and I agree, he did what was politically sound, the thing though is, Did it damage the industry there? I believe so
I don't think I will ever get another answer from you so again thanks for taking the time and not only am I a big Italy's fan being raised just norh of the border but also a big fan of yourself personally

Situation in Saint Petersburg was more than quite until everything was handled with a "low profile", this means also that if a girl change her mind after a reasonable time after her scene, everyone agreed to erase the content from their website (I did it many time, more than you can image and all the other did it) or anyway remember that what we do, with young russian girls is not every time based on the will do be a pornstar, but specially at the beginning is based on the hunger of money
Lets remember that under the "umbrella" of Sergey Pryanishnikov, shooting of adult content was legal. You can get more information here, on my post from Mar 29, 2018:

Everything started in the summer 2011 with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqbRJAitK2A&t=3s
When this stuff went to the television well, we know the industry was done.
The cherry on the cake was this: http://nowoodman.blogspot.com/2011/08/blog-post_18.html
Use a google translator, but we aware many stuff are not true.
The reaction of public opinion was very intense at the end of the summer the Duma enforced a low against obscenity that included limitations on the production of adult content (started to be active 1 year after, in september 2012)
Let me add a very personal note: when a model makes a medical test and join a porn movie, there is nothing to ask or to agree anymore. In my opinion this is the real tacit consent, really more important than a signature on an agreement, but this doesnt mean that a content with a production cost of few hundred dollars, is more important than act in the interest of the industry. What is in the interest of the industry is also in the interest of any producer.
Putin did not do anything different that what public opinion asked otherwise he would not give a shit.

Some of the great series were filmed directly in Saint Petersburg..it's not happening anymore which creates two problems
1- You have to get a visa for Russian to come to the EU
2- You have to cover more expenses (flight, hotel etc)
way harder to take a chance on a newbie that could simply not show up, not perform or use the visa to do toursim
As far as the economic crisis..well Russian rouble is lower now than during those great years you are refering too and many many russian cities outside the Big two (and even in those really) have a fair amount of poverty, there should be no shortage of girls
So I do think the new regulation has a lot to do with the current situation.

You forget that when the economy is good, prostitution is much better money than porn. I remember driving from Germany through the former Czechoslovakia, just after the fall of the former Soviet Union. There was a stretch of E50 that was packed with prostitutes. Drop dead gorgeous, university educated, multilingual speaking women. I bullshit you not.

Switching to poorer post-USSR places with visa-free regime for EU trips is a good option.
Baltic are too small basically, only Latvia has a decent Russian female 18-30yo. population.
Moldavia is an option, some LP girls were from there, usually transferred via Odessa.
But the real tap is in Ukraine.
Millions of girls 18-25yo.
Cheep and visa free!
