There is still a chance that Marta V will come back and make more porn scenes. However, Monika Wild is retired or semi-retired?
Marta V has a body shape that is also currently in high demand, so I think Marta V will edge this.

R16 Match 5 has paired actually two semi-retired LP girls, right. Both are not officially retired, but also no sign of a soon studio return of either.
This said its holiday time and some Prague studios are closed for that reason.

It's not a stats poll, it's a favorite pornstar poll. Otherwise there'd be no point of polls, you'd just look at the bestseller list to determine the "best".

This tournament calls "best pornstar", not "favorite". You just can't beat a legend with less than 10 scenes, this is ridiculous. And when we talk about Monika, it's not about quantity but about quality, gifs were attached.

Actually you can beat a legend with less than 10 scenes if this is your choice and you're entitled to it

, part of being the best pornstar is also being one of my favorite pornstars otherwise I won't watch you and hence not vote for you. Marta V here is the underdog, nobody would be surprised if she loses and credit to her to be able to compete with a legend when she's fairly new. This means she's left already a very good impression

Best is entirely subjective. Obviously the polls are asking people to vote for their favorites otherwise there'd be no point to them and you'd just look at bestseller lists instead.

There could be a difference between who you think is best and who is your favorite. There could be a situation when both girl are or aren't you favorites. When the tournament calls "best", and not a "favorite", you should expect more objective voting, not strict to like/dislike. And no, we can't reduce everything to "list of bestsellers", at least because there could be a lot of pairings where it's not obvious who is better in that. But here it's not even close, and this is the most objective criterion because people are voting by money, and it's not even close.
Same goes to Brittany/Emily Belle match, where Emily could win against one of the most remarkable performer in LP history just and literally because of beautiful eyes. She is "better" than a truly legend because she's slim blonde with blue eyes. That's what I call "disrespectful".

i get what the poster is trying to say. If we are voting for the best porn star, in terms of overall previous performances, and what they can do, how they have performed. Then, Monika Wild should beat Marta V. However, if we are to vote for the best porn star of 2025, then surely it has to go to someone who has been active on here in 2025, in which case the vote should go to Marta V.

There really is a clear difference between best porn star, and favourite porn star. There is also a lot to take in from the title of the vote...best porn star of 2025.
