The only rectification that would ever happen from the scene removal is ... nothing.

Realistically - the best thing to do would be to just give everybody back the credits for the scenes that they purchased but can no longer access. Like ... it may be a short term loss, but it keeps these customers close and on-board. Which is honestly what's needed in a climate where the porn market has more options than ever, even if not very many of them are really that great.

But those scenes - I can't understand the folks who don't realize that those scenes aren't coming back. Like, ever.

Here's the reality of the situation. The minute somebody spends one hour looking into this - is an hour you have to pay that person. So, ultimately, it's a loss of profit even pretending it's an actual problem.

Next up - this isn't an organization like a bank. There isn't a vault where the scenes are all safely stored inside. Ever since they started fucking around with the site design - lots of videos that were somehow still embedded in a gigantic swath of old code - got removed. The new code doesn't recognize the old code - and finding that particular thing in the old code will probably take a lot of the aforementioned time.

The whole thing is like finding a needle in a hay-stack. But that's not a good analogy, because there are way more videos in the site design than there are pieces of hay in the stack.

Not only this - but seeing as the organizational structure is so ... not like that of a bank ... the individual directors and producers most likely don't have literal tens of thousands of terabytes of all those scenes lying around. They most likely have none of them.

Also - there's the fact that the site search system is screwed as well. Some of the absolute hottest girls who've ever shot porn for AV/PB - when you go to their model page - it doesn't exist!

The whole site just ate like ... a good 10% to 20% of itself.

On top of this - every day the site is adding up to 80 new videos. Like ... who's entering all of the model information for all of these girls shooting on all of these different studios? Who's even entering the studios? It would take someone, most likely, a full day's work every day to just properly categorize and label everything and make sure all the links that are there are valid.

The search system is essential - but some of the hottest girls are like ... "Who's that? 404 motherfucker."

It's like ... 10% might not seem like a lot, but it absolutely is when you've got like 20,000 models, 2,000 studios, and a whole long range of tags that apply to each and every one.

As much as I hate the phrase, anybody who thinks that their 8-year-old movie purchase is going to be coming back at any time in the future, needs to seriously go outside and touch some grass.
