LP blew away my notions of what caused girls to enter porn

It was about 2013, & I was happy with my theory that in Europe, two factors determined whether attractive young women would enter or had entered porn in previous 15-20 years.

I was sure it was due to (i) a confidence that the product would only be accessible on 'back shelves' etc, & no one would ever find out, & (ii) poverty.

I made an allowance for the USA where there was little or no social security.

However, 2013 & 2014 saw a whole group of Czech girls, when the economy was picking up, enter the business & very hardcore too. It was clear at this time that the internet was in everyone's reach too, so there was no way their choices would be a secret.

I'm talking about the generation of Amber Cute, Alice Nice, Linda Sweet, Rosella Visconti etc. There were about 20 of them, all stunners.

It blew my theory to pieces.

However within 20 years Eastern European women got a lot of confidence and some just took the porn option of very attractive payment while staying at home - as opposed to work migrating to GB or Ireland.

It was and is still for the money in most cases ofc, but not out of poverty or lack of alternatives, but taking a free choice, maybe even looking for the fame associated with. You see the latter fame part clearly in Czech vs. Hungary around 2012-15, with the latter a much more conservative society.

One side-motivation often forgotten I want to add is ex-BF revenge. The few models I happened to recruit for porn did it all because they needed money, but also after some pretty nasty break-ups with partly abusive ex-BF. That aspect may have applied also 1989-1999.

There must even be girls who only do it for the adventure, out of curiosity, to feel alive, to feel excitement.

I think it's like the case of one of the most beautiful girls who has been in LP/AV, I'm talking about Jessica. She only came from afar to do a single DP scene, it must have been something like fulfilling a fantasy for her.

Porn is very different now compared to 20 years ago...some do it as a means to further themselves, others see it as a stepping stone to something else.
Some enter porn with a very specific goal.

I think sex sells, and will always do so despite the MeToo movement, the rise of feminism, backlashes and restrictions on porn/sex/red light industries etc.

Recently I was checking some early erotic photoshoots of some actresses. And something completely blew me away. In some photoshoots with AJ Applegate and Sofa Weber girls had some very noticible genital herpes/warts (well not anymore). I am pretty sure that for young women it causes a huge mental damage to self-esteem since it is not only very aesthetically bad looking but brands you as promiscuous woman too. Such condition makes it "easy" for them chose porn.
