Change to the free tkt system

Hello,

quick information about the life of premium videos.

Previously, premium videos became free for members after a year and a half (who get 1 "free ticket" per day to spend on these previously "premium" scenes).
We extended the period to 2 years.

Do you mean to ay that videos released from 23th Sept 2016 onwards become free only after 22th Sept 2018?
What is happening with the scenes released from 26 March 2015 till 23th Sept 2016?

Is LP in financial trouble? Movies are getting more and more expensive, and now for free videos we have to wait longer? Maybe it's just because there are so many people in your shoots (5+ guys, and at least 1 girl, pretty regular these days) you have to pay more people than you used to? Hope you guys are doing okay...

I don't know how the majority of people are doing but me, I have over 500 free tkt and they almost seem worthless with the 18 month wait period you just increased to 24....

The free tickets are for the most part useless. Spent mine looong time ago, and never looked back.
Even the premium tickets are hard to spend now. Kinda waiting for scenes worth the tickets to start dropping.

This change has a single purpose : make external studios' life easier by bringing a little extra income. It's not easy at all for them as you guys seem to prefer content that is very expensive (lots of performers and hard work).

I'd rather have much simplier scenes (1 on 1, 1 on 2, 2 on 1, 2 on 2) with anal, DP, DAP. like old GG Exclusive stuff or lately SAL (but more intense).

Not just for the lower price but it give more variety in girls and scene themes. GG Exclusive conceptional work was genius.

Yes, exactly that. All scenes will be postponed now for 6 months, then they will begin to start flowing again.

The best change for the single purpose of studios making more than little extra income, is to start producing and releasing piss, kreme, milk, fisting, content. It would certainly start my tickets moving again instead of collecting dust, and I am sure I am not alone. The stuff that is coming out currently, is no competition for what is out there for a fraction of the price.

Please, excuse my english. This decision is just another way to exploit your fans. Senior members have already bought the old movies that interested us. Now, or we buy movies that we do not like or are 6 months without using the tickets.
For new members this does not matter. Only hurts the veteran members who have been paying for a long time.

Fyi there are a load of free premium 'piss drinking slut' scenes still available so if you are quick and haven't yet ' bought' them for 'free' then now is your chance x

LP is free to set its prices, and to tinker with the system, however it wants, just as we're free to continue paying or not.

I will tell you as a marketing matter, however, that pleas from a seller about its rising costs almost never convince a consumer. You're looking at it from your standpoint -- which is understandable, but incomplete. From our standpoint, the question isn't what your costs are.

It's what your competitors are providing, and what that costs us.

You've chosen a different pricing & services model than most of your competitors. You do a lousy, lousy job of explaining to your customers why and how that might work out to be in their best interests. And whining about your costs -- even though I'm sure you have plenty of sound reasons to do that, from your point of view -- is the wrong way to go about marketing.

^ Boom. And for the most part I agree. Not entirely, but mostly. This site provides premium porn, but at a superior cost compared to other pay-sites. Holding out on free scenes suggests to me *again* that there's a problem. I've already suggested possible solutions, which I won't repeat. But really - this isn't the only price increase lately. New scenes continue to escalate in ticket price as well. So... why continue to force your customers to ask "is this worth it?" ... I don't mind paying tickets for scenes, it let's the site know what most of it's PAYING members are interested if nothing else. But if prices continue to escalate... surely there must be a better way? Right? A better way for studios to get their payment? I hate to repeat myself, but really decreasing the price after a year-or-so seems like a good solution. (shrugs) My opinion, obviously.

LP has a different pricing system but also a different attitude towards consumers, its a fan based site with lots of fans say actually and I would expect some understanding on their part. This is why an open word about costs should work here, maybe not with other sites, but here yes.

Apart from this its not a price increase really, but holding back something given away for free to long time members.
Only bad point I see is loyal members loosing out against short time members.

+1, I simply buy the scenes I want to see so free tickets are useless for me. There is no benefits for long time members. I would get rid of this system and find another way to compensate members.

I only watch porn in 4K these days and since there are no free scenes in that format, my 'free tickets' are of no value to me.

with this change, this is the first time in 2 years I am not spending my free tickets. This change really does affect those of us who have been around a while, as many of the movies that become free are ones I purchased at premium prices so log ago. I can say I dont like the change from 18 to 24 months.

It would be interesting to know how this change has affected site income for the older premium scenes. From my own perspective, I will just wait a further six months and use free tickets to obtain the scenes I have been waiting to become free. If I had been prepared to use premium tickets to buy them then I would have purchased them for premium tickets at the point of release.

Being able to try scenes that are outside of my usual preferences for free tickets is a good perk for long term membership here and this has often led me onto buying newer premium scenes featuring the same models/fetishes. As I see it, this change just makes it irritating for long term members who now have to wait longer to try these scenes and reduces the probability of secondary premium purchases as a result.
