Other than that there is the option of step sisters which is still hot.

The fact of the matter is that even if they are nothing, the roleplaying is always hot because just by simply roleplaying something it makes people feel they are in the role, and that's hot too.

I believe Sasha Paige was introduced as the sister of Sofa Weber in her earliest scenes. Not sure if NRX already planned then to shoot the real sisters scene back then and they wanted to create this direction from the very beginning, make users request for scenes with them together (which obviously happened). Producers could randomly do that with models that look-a-like way more. Without pictures of the parents or the parent part they have in common it is hard to tell. Maybe one looks more like the mother the other more like the father or the grandmother (mother of the father). Just saying that siblings can look pretty different.
Considering this I am actually in the real sisters or at least somewhat-related camp.

This is true although there's often something you can spot - stuff like the shape of the nose, jawline, bone structure etc and also mannerisms, speech etc. However given that it's porn we're talking about and that porn producers know that describing them as sisters will help sales exponentially then excuse me for being somewhat doubtful!
