Luckily money is not the only reason why people do stuff. AI is intelligent in the sense that it can compile large amounts of information and have access to that immediately, combine that information to make new discoveries, and create things based on the work that has been done before. This means AI also has its limitations even if they may seem imperceptible.
Which makes us appreciate more the work that people are doing now because this is a very significant time, AI can use the work of GIO and Gonzo and Pineapples, and anyone else, and do something from that, but it needs those resources in order to be creative, which tell us how important the work people do is, it makes possible all the amazing things AI will be able to produce for us in the future.
So in many ways these last generations of real people doing a big proliferation of many different types of work are iconic and legendary for that very reason.
Don't get me wrong, people will always find fascination in the creative process and AI is the best tool humanity has produced for that, but it is still just a tool. AI is limited to the bubble we call reality, which as I explained before in a previous post in this thread, is fake, just a rendered image with physical properties that serve as prompts.
AI doesn't have access to anything outside the material world, only humans do, so AI will always be dependent of humans for that access. It is the difference between a local network and the Internet, the material world is the local network AI can explore, outside of that, it is the Internet, and only living beings have access to it through consciousness, awareness, and emotional experiences.
We can measure strong emotions, we can measure dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, endorphin, etc.. Those substances are just the effect of a cause, that cause can be artificial, natural, or abstract. AI may be able to produce artificial and natural causes, but not the abstract ones, the ones that come from outside the bubble. AI may even be able to have an opinion on the abstract causes, but it will never be able to access them. So AI is pretty limited because it doesn't know how to create an opening outside that bubble.
We humans can create new openings through procreation, reproduction, multiplication of the species. AI can't and won't.
That said, AI can be used for lots of fucked up stuff, and it is definitely dangerous, a big spiritual awakening needs to happen if we are going to be prepared for that transition.
