Porn/Erotic Art: 3D digi-render (Daz etc) & 2D (flat) images

I think there is a valid place on this forum for fandom/discussion/sharing of promo samples of 3D digitally rendered porn/erotic art (Daz/Poser/similar software) and 2D porn/erotic art (be it Western or Asian in style/origin, eg Fansadox or Manga).
Unfortunately it seems the recent thread someone started got derailed into a shock-for-shock's sake gorefest, and potential goodwill from forum members with an interest in the subject evaporated correspondingly. Which is a shame.

So... By way of drawing a line under that false start and rebooting the entire subject, I thought starting a new thread would be worth a try. See how it goes.
Maybe it will fall flat, maybe it will take off. But a fresh space to engage seems the place to start.
I've already posted work from three current 3D artists over at Slushe com I'm a fan of in this thread ('Future of Porn') with some grandiose speculation.

As for why 3D/2D porn art has a valid place alongside conventional photo/film porn), in the case of 3D I think what I like is the combination of hyper-reality in 3D art (super-detailed, super-glossy, colours and textures really saturated and intense), the huge amount of control to conceptualize/populate/furnish/light environments 3D rendered art offers (without access to Hollywood level budgets these could never be attempted in real life porn shoots), and the way some artists manage to create an entire dramatic and open-ended narrative into a single graphic image.
A couple of examples.

This could be a Giorgio Wondertoys promo. All my points above apply re saturated colours, textures, lighting and imagined spaces.
(Artist is Blake Stronge at Slushe/Renderotica).

Another by artist Sostene (also at Slushe/Renderotica).
This could almost be Florane and her team directing a Zee Twins shoot. So much intenstity and drama and potential for different storylines in a single image.

As for 2D artwork, there fluid lines (brushstrokes, washes), impressionistic atmospheres, and spontenteity of mood seem to work well.

It's super cheeky and playful, a charged and spontaneous fetishy snapshot, for which you can imagine your own prelude and follow-on continuation.

I've been careful to include names and sites so you can follow up on any artists making work that appeals to you. They generally produce images, series, and can even be commissioned.
I am proposing that as a basic principle if you are adding to this thread. Credit the artists as a courtesy and also so those who like the work can follow and support them.

Another rule should be to only post a couple of samples from your favourite artists (not whole sets). These artists often try to sustain themselves through selling their work. Don't rip them off.

Maybe this new revised 'restart' 3D/2D art thread will fly or crash. But it is now a thing. Over to you.

My comment wasn't aimed at anyone posting in that thread in particular. I just quickly scanned back through it and noticed immediately that most of the comments in it were arguments/reactions to the more extreme images in the first pages, rather than contributions of other images. So I felt a fresh start might recharge the whole subject.

For what it's worth I commented that I really liked one of your BDSM/basement type images and asked for more info re artist (seems a lot of that image was crudely blocked out with black).

Hopefully obvious, but agreed and worth stressing that at the top. I assumed people wouldn't be so stupid, but just in case, keep it legal, people!. A minimum requirement and expectation for all contributors.

it's cool that you posted Fernando because I was juggling whether to include a Fernado image or the LeraPi, but all his Fansadox comic series get a huge +1 from me.
I only opted for LeraPi over Fernando because the Fernando was bondagey, and as both 3D images I posted were that too, I didn't want to be boring.
But since you've brought him into the conservation... I feel 'less boring' adding it now.

And imagine this as a scene scenario on this site???
Basic scenario is that a man and woman are watching a crazy orgy-party going on in the apartment block opposite theirs.
But because there are only two of them, they have to improvise, so use huge dildos with suckers on the bases that they stick to the (ceiling-to-floor) window.
Add in some hardcore bondage obviously, because Fernado loves it (and I stan for Fernando because I do too), and they begin to mirror the action, apartment block window to apartment block window.

The expressiveness in the characters faces is what makes Fernando great. He's taken that classic 1950s Marvel Comics aesthetic (beloved of 1960s Pop Artists), mixed it with a Film Noir 'everything happens in shadows and darkness' atmosphere, and subverted the good-always-wins-over-evil schtick to communicate his own kink agenda.

I actually dislike most of the stuff on Dofantasy.

I would say that most authors are not great at drawing, lol.
Also, a lot of them are too gory, I think scarletxxx666 would love most of their stuff.

What makes me like Fernando, above anyone else in the "hentai" industry, lets call it,
is that the women that he draws still look "human" while most artist in the industry
go for super large breasts and other traits like huge eyes, that make the female characters,
look "alien" in my opinion, and not at all sexy.

One of my favorite characters made by Fernando is from the comic Dead Shark Island

Basically, is Kristy Black, lol
with the huge plus of zero tattos

Those body proportions are my niche. heh.

Another thing that Fernando is really good at, IMO,
is that he lets suspense build quite nicely,
he let's your imagination go wild, before
he reveals his cards. He is such a teaser.

I think the porn industry should work on suspense,

three random solo 'glamour' images just to even up the porn to glamour ratio.
The uniting theme could be textures; sheer stockings, patent black leather, white lace, pink spandex, clear latex.

Something 3D rendering can do really well (compared to regular photography) is make detail, particularly in skin, textiles, surfaces, pop, shine, glisten, glow, smoulder.
As each separate element (eyes, skin, dress, shoes, decor), exists in its own 'closed circuit' vector (so variable aspects of it - brilliance, contrast, colour balance - can be treated separately or locked to main image) the lighting of each can be fine tuned in a way that isn't variable in the same way with real-life photography, whose parameters are far more rigidly defined at the moment of exposure (even if they can later be tweaked).

Anyway, 'texture'. Follow, support, even commission the artists. This is the new (still barely-tapped) frontier of future porn.
