Disguise? Not at all. I know that Max Hardcore is controversal (honestly I don't why, I haven't researched about it), but surely I like his style.
By the way I also like Bryan Gozzling's porn, in my view a modern version of Max Hardcore's.
Maybe you should research Max before admiring his style. There are multiple allegations about him tricking, abusing and raping models. He served a 4 year jail sentence on obsenity charges. Of course he says he was framed. Believe what you will. Gozzling by comparison.is a pussy
Another big +1 from me for Carolina. Especially when Giorgio & Gonzo in CZ start ramping production back up.
The new Russian scenes that have got us all through this weird year for production have been enough to be going on with. An the quality of new women performers that have come forward to shoot has been breath-taking. Everyone here knows Russian women are really special, but this year has been truly stand out for new Russian talent.
That said, while some studios (NRX in particular) have reached a standard of professionalism (sets, camerawork, lighting, styling) that can compete with LPs best, many of the scenes have been plagued by poor lighting and limited stages.
That's not said to insult those producers involved. Russia is locked down, so anything getting produced is a wonder in itself. They have done exceptionally well under the circumstances. But when LP is up & running again that may hold their sales back.
But all this is off topic. Carolina in Russia would be a great catch now. And at LP later perhaps even better.
Re Max Hardcore. As I understand it, his 'crime' as charged was to do with his company inadvertently breaking some stupid US interstate law and not anything particularly damning (I know nothing of the other accusations, other than accusations are only accusations until tested in a court of law).
Too many accusations against one man/company suggest there may (may) be a wider & ongoing problem. But also worth bearing in mind that former LP performers (as with PW) have also made accusations (of sorts) at various times on various themes.
It can get murky (as can motives). But the best we can hope for is that valid accusations get dealt with fairly and promptly, through the legal system, and that untested accusations are not regarded as anything more damning than that until then.
As for Max's case, US law is a minefield and can be mind-bendingly perverse.
Until relatively recently it used to be that a person could marry their 13 year old cousin in one state (cranky bible belt backwaters), not be able to drink or smoke until 21 in another state (ultra-conservative evangelist states), and be able to run a porn empire from another (LA & California).
And the legal difference that separates these worlds is just a line in the sand at the border (which postal trucks carrying mail cross to and fro).
So as I understand Max's case, his company (LA maybe?) sent a video/DVD out to a particularly conservative state in which that content was deemed illegal to produce or possess.
But obviously legal where it was shot, and legal in a majority of other US states.
That's all I can remember of that episode when I looked it up at the time. As someone who had watched Max scenes I remember being worried that it was something really bad. And then relieved on reading the details about it being 'just' inter-state legal conflicts.
The other accusations I don't know of may be more serious. I don't know of them so can't comment.
All this is off topic, but since Carolina isn't doing much here yet (we wish) I got lured into the OT gossip.
