Thanks Anselm.
I haven't got the broadband sorted yet, I'm in a friend's house right now, so I'm connecting on a lot of things that I can't do at work.,
I don't miss it. I thought it'd be really hard, but an off-line life is just great. I don't want to come back. Some of the crazy shit I see on here, I just don't want to be part of.
I have a connection on this site, & one day when I'm in your part of the world, I'll try to get him to link us up, & we can meet & have a few beers & talk music.
I have a long memory & I don't forget good people. You have completely invigorated my feelings & pleasure in listening to that authentic English folk music of humility, music without pretence like so much of the fake 'rebel' stuff from other parts of the British Isles, & I thank you for that.
What am I listening to now, in the rock genre, I'll show you, but it seems this is really taking off as a stellar performance, even though the material isn't great, the playing is, & they blew the Stone's off so much on their own show, that the performance was hidden away in the archives for 50 years.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJv2-_- ... 8OiMXXxRJAI won't be back here, broadband or not, but somehow I'd like to think we'd meet up some day for a beer, leave that with me.
Cheers for now, thanks for the shout-out, & thanks for the great musical tips. These two were my favourites. Long may I listen to them:
