DAP banned in France?

The BTS footage from the most recent Gonzo Xmas scene is an epic 4 hours 20 minutes, so I'm not sure many other people will have sat through the whole thing - but did anyone else catch the exchange with Proxy Paige in which there was mention of some of the girls being disappointed there would be no DAP due to some kind of ban in France, where apparently some lawmakers are claiming the act amounts to 'torture'? Sure enough, if you go to the Gonzo studio and filter the DAP tag, there haven't been any scenes featuring DAP since December. I know Gonzo is supposedly defunct, but they still seem to be pumping out scenes on a near daily basis since then (I guess working through their backlog).

Anyone heard anything else about this supposed 'DAP ban', and is it likely to affect any other studio?

I’m no fan of DAP in particular. You guys love it and I don’t mind delivering on that for you, but it’s not my cup of tea. Having said that, as long as it’s performed responsibly, it is definitely not “torture” for anybody.

I'll check straight away now, but I also think it's a misunderstanding. This said former Gonzo owner had a strong connection with France and maybe some legal reasons lure behind the fact that they shot much less DAP in Summer-Autumn 2023 even when girls were clearly DAP-able. In this context I also remember Max Born tweeting that Gonzo closed for a 'stupid reason', whatever that be.

It's minute 2.50 to 2.51 and Proxy, Kxitten and Rebel discussing with the girls holding roses. Proxy claims the rules of X-mas scenes had been changed and Kxitten couldnt fist maybe Rebel anymore as she did it in 2022. Then they talk about DAP which apparently according to Rebel is doomed 'torture' in France. Also Proxy brings up France, but she hopes DAP can still be shot for the X-mas scene.
Judging by the tone Proxy could be joking, but Rebel sounds dead serious.
Actually 2 DAPs have been shot for sure in that X-mas 2023 scene: Anna de Ville and Mells Blanco. If they have 2 why they didn't have 10 DAP?! - Only reason I see at hand is $$$ being invested into that scene because DAP fee is much higher than just DP fee. This said it's very strange Kxitten didnt get DAP-ed even though in BTS it sounds like she really wanted DAP.

In France people are very versed to the fact that lobbies exist everywhere from antiporn associations brain washing public opinion to Condom manufacturers pressuring their local porn market to render latex compulsory on scenes (while everybody knows PCR works perfectly as an alternative to condoms)

I'm french and I have no idea if true but more and more scenes are getting hidden from my feed so I now use TOR to check AV news scenes.
France has always been bad at regulating porn anyways so I won't be surprised.

What's heartbreaking is that the French have been known for being very sexual. All their films have a lot of erotica. They also have Paris which is the city of love. And they are known for progressive classic liberal ideals. So anything that involves "banning" or "censoring" anything is a big stab at the free thinking image they had been trying to build for so long.
