I personally find the classic plastic design the most appealing. these metal jewel ones are cute but at same time too discreet. The bulkier ones provide some nice vulgarity to the scene (or public stunt) and doesn't hurt eroticism as much as the giant ones. Maybe it is just nostalgia, but I do like the middle ground.

I loved the inspection kit buttplug that Giorgio used a few times in scenes. The inner core of the buttplug could be removed to allow you to see the girl's gape. here is my take. metal and glass ones for intro scenes and teasing, since they are visually very appealing. plastic/silicone ones for insertion play and stretching.
