I agree with you that the look and feel of LPAV/PornBox and the scenes back in 2015-2017 are very different to the context, texture and aesthetics of the scenes now in 2025.
However, that is more to do with relevant changes and the evolution of porn. We have also been hit with lots of things like COVID-19, Russia-Ukraine war, cost of living/energy crisis, high inflation, and now the Tariff trade wars...it has changed life, finances, and production significantly.
Stock markets can easily go down 10% in the space of a week, people just do not have much spare cash left over.

I think the majority of the studios are doing the best they can, with the resources, and the circumstances that they find themselves in.

Largely agree. I have downloads from those years and I would say that at that time, girls were better looking on average. Then, in many cases, there is better camera work and better male actors. They also focus on the basics, because the current circus style has not yet taken off.

Some time ago I watched a DAP video from those years. It was significantly better directed and filmed than most similar modern videos. For example, the camera angles were better, more thoughtful than in many videos today. I mean,camera angles are absolutely essential in porn.

And I would also say that those older videos have a calmer atmosphere in a positive sense. So I'm not saying that everything is worse today, but that a surprising amount of high-quality porn was made back then.

Some personal experience.

I discovered LP in 2014-2015. If I my memory serves me well, I remember that already in that time there were some legendary actresses appreciated by many forumers (Crystal Greenvelle, Luciana Karel, Goldie, Blanche Bradburry) who represented the 2010-2015 generation of models. I've never been attracted to this generation (of course I respect them and their legacy!).

My first LP-memories are linked to girls who entered the platform in 2015-2018 period. In my mind, this was the begging of "my" golden-LP era which, in my memories, I do associate with the likes of Roxy Black, Anna Rey, Kira Roller, Monika Wild, Selvaggia, Anastasia Rose, Charlotte Sartre, Mai Thai, Taylee Wood or Sara Bell. Some of them are among my favourites, others not, but still I do appreciate their work and their legacy. I just mean I associate their faces and their scene with what I consider the golden era of the LP platform.

I remember having had a period of disinterest in LP stuff in 2020-2021. The core studios reduced production and my favourite models retired or reduced their apperances. There are some scenes from remote past that had been shot before the LP platform was created. More experiences watchers/posters are certainly familiar with Sineplex/NRFTA Giorgio Grandi output from his Piter years and "old" Czech made scenes (I don't really know who shot them, they often feature Denis Reed, young Angelo Godshack or the legendary Pavel Faun). Much of this stuff is or was available on the LP platform (and that's great), but I'm not sure these scenes can be considered LP-made. From that period, I'm especially fond of two girls: Sarah Lollypop and Nika Star - Nika is my very favourite model of all time, I'm really happy she had shot some epic scenes with Giorgio Grandi and Omar Galanti, but I would have really loved she could have appeared on LP during it's golden era about 2015-2016. But it was already too late...

By "LP-made", I mean scenes produces by LP-core studios: GG and Gonzo, then many more studios with high (in terms of quantity and quality) output (especially Russian ones).

That being said, I consider there were, for me, two peak periods of LP-made porn, the second first during 2015-2020 (GG and Gonzo) and 2021-2023 (Russian studios).

My point of view is of course very subjective as I've always focused on Slavic girls.

I don't think there will be another prime period in the LP-platorm history. I would say the 2015-2020 was the golden era, the 2021-2023 the silver one. And since 2023, I experience the bronze age of LP-made Slavic-oriented porn. Today, LP priorities, for different reasons, are elsewhere. I do understand this, but I'm not going to follow the new tendencies. I prefer to live in the past. The glorious past.

I Don’t think it died. NRX studio does it, it’s very russian, isnt it? The thing is -I don’t enjoy it that much.
