Hello everyone. Today we released an update that we have been wanting to make for a long time.

Some important indexes are now showing no content by default; but you can make any studio appear in them by clicking the SHOW icon in the suggestion zone and various other places. That way you can see only content that you like in those areas. We will extend that logic to more pages too.

We did this because there was simply too much content that cluttered the pages.

Nice update, thanks. This makes it so much easier to navigate the store and find what one is actually interested in.

Thanks, but i'm really not so happy with this.
This will cause that I'll miss content from studios, not in my show list.
You should make this optional. Make something like show fav's only ON/OFF switch.
I like more the old version, because like to inspiring me!!
And you don't like your CUSTOM Page. It's overloaded and need 20-30 seconds to load each page. This make no fun!

So please please make this optional. It will cause that people will miss good things, and this can harm studios and you'll potentionally miss money!

There is also feed page, which shows me all the studio uodates I like day by day. This is the best seperate filter for me.
But this update shows me lesser scenes than this feature... i'm only confused! Now there is no chance to see the daily updates in good structure.

No one will be happy this way. The channel owners, the customers and you also!

Having a choice is the best option for everyone!

Yes, there was WAY too much rubbish coming in every day, but that was mgmt's fault strategically.

But you'd still browse, however briefly just to see was there anything interesting coming in.

Now you have no idea of this, great things can be missed.

There is no incentive for any studio to post, especially new studio's, because no-one will have an idea they've posted.

Absolute madness.

Agree with what people seem to be saying here. I don't mind the default feed being follow-only, but there needs to be a way to see all new scenes or else most everything is going to fall through the cracks.

Plus I had only been following studios that I almost always like the content from. Now I need to go through the ones I only liked and bump them up or else I'll miss their updates.

You can check all new studios one by one if you want new stuff. It is far easier than having to scroll through mountains of content you don't want day after day.

Can't see ticket prices of new studios that way so still flawed. And sometimes you got new studio's but clicking on them shows no vids yet. So they take up a slot but without anything to see you can't form an opinion yet.

And if you just add a 'don't show new studio's' button to the old system we're there aswell. With less hassle. And it allows us to rank studio's instead of grouping em all together.
Then allow us a way to search or automaticly show video's/studio's that meet certain criteria. e.g. interested in new video's/studio's that have DP's.

Actuallly no it's not, it requires more steps and takes longer. Anyway we could've already done that if we chose to.
The feed I am getting is showing videos, at their newest, at 2 years old, going out to 6 years and beyond. IOW NOTHING new

Terrible update! Why waste time programming if it is only to worsen the user's experience? All a person had to do is wait and the top performing scenes would show up near the top. Also, there are only a few studios that I cared about, so I looked for them first. However, we do get great content releases from Rebel Rhyder and etc on her particular channel. If I don't have all of them listed, then their content would fall through the cracks. Previously, her content would eventually make its way up to the top of suggestions.

You guys also messed up when you removed discussions from the top of the site too.

Why would you do that ? It is so uncomfortable...

Terrible update. Return everything to the way it was.
It is impossible to enter the library; the page takes forever to load.
To see all the new scenes, you need to go to Custom, but there, too, nothing loads and 502 Bad Gateway crashes.
Return the tab with new scenes as it was, and in Custom what you did with the tab with new scenes

Why would you kill your website like this? This will go down as one of the worst business moves of all time.

One by one per studio?! Insanity.
And now today nothing is loading at all.
Do you guys ever test things before you publish?
There must be a 100 regular posters on this forum that would happily volunteer their time to test solutions before release.

It did load the new scenes…but took 5 minutes!!

Please go back to the old system. I was in the habit of checking each day to see what new scenes had been released; having to visit each of my favorite studios' pages to check for updates--the new system--is a cumbersome endeavor.

Not really a good update. It is going to hurt the smaller creators and studios drastically because people won't be able to discover on home page and more than likely won't look through studio page to find anything new since they would be at the bottom anyway. Should have been an optional button on top left or right from a professional point of view.

It's not often you see a company try and reduce the exposure of their product to their consumers.

So when a new studio comes on board......... no one will see it.

It was much easier to sort videos by newest.

Oh man, now is way more confusing than before. Going studio by studio checking the new scenes it's definitely not the easiest way to access the content. Anyways, since the new scenes are not shown in the forum, i've pass on a lot of scenes because i didn't know, i guess now i'm gonna miss a lot more, lol.

OH no, they removed also the FEED tab... i'm really getting angry and angry about this update. REVERT THIS!
Testing of a new release before releasing is the most important part of software development!

Need a simple improvement as stated above. You can simply choose with one click to see those you follow and all. Done. Do you want me to code it for you......?

The irony is; many of the pirate websites and forums now make it easier to navigate the content from this site!!

Of course Pornbox had a big self-inflicted problem with too much undifferentiated content cluttering up the platform. It was like a chaotic bazaar when they needed a department store.

Of course they needed solutions. Possibly even to test some possible approaches with customers before making content even harder to find? I don't think the show/hide studio approach is user-friendly.

Maybe this latest version of Pornbox intentionally favours the larger more established studios who become more visible now? And any newer content producers must fight to become visible at all?

Maybe Pornbox just want to move to a business model more similar to Lonelyfans where individual creators/producers must hustle for themselves on social media etc. to create awareness and interest in their content so surfers will seek them out?

You don't have to check your fav studio pages. Just follow (show) them and just browse the "new scenes" page as usual.

In reality the studio suggestions at the top of the "new scenes" index are made of the studios that released that day, including new ones. It means those suggestions are very similar to what you saw before, but their size is limited to a smaller area.

You are free to check them all every day. It is slightly slower to check them from a suggest area but then you can also browse your box store much faster.

All I see on 'New Scenes' is 6 studios across the top which force me to 'show' or 'hide' them before anymore studios appear. Am I missing something? How can I simply see all new content that day? (I like the fact we can now just see favourite channels, but a simple toggle would be the perfect solution)

This is embarrassing. Please show humility & sort it out. We all make mistakes. There's no shame in it. The only shame is refusing to admit it.

Well, don't know, if this is working as intended.
I think, I understand the idea behind this update.
Sorting every days' scenes by "follow", "like" etc. needs much more performance on the database than just a binary switch "show" or "hide". And I think, I will be ok with this decision. When it works as intended.
But here is just one example of a studio I follow, but todays scene is hidden:



Maybe I've set some filter on some tags or so, that now also are binary switches.
But if I've done so, please get me a possibility to find out, why this scene is hidden to me.
And I think, I could find much more examples of scenes, that are hidden to me today.
