My only point is that there has to be more than the current small roster of guys who are super-prolific when it comes to doing porn scenes. I don't think the personal cost for guys is any higher than it is for women.

Many people would argue that the personal cost for women is much higher than it is for guys. Because the word 'slut' is a kind of an insult that women use among themselves. But the word 'stud' is often used as complement, rather than as an insult. There is a double standard in society where having sex outside of marriage is much worse for women than it is for men.

I think the main reason why they keep using the same guys again and again is because it takes some time to train a new stud and give him enough practice with women to make him good on the set. Most guys are probably capable of becoming porn-studs. But guys need to get used to the atmosphere of doing it in public, before they can reliably get their erection going. And there isn't any easy way for a guy to get this kind of training and practice.

It's a serious personal concern for most of capable guys, just like that. Plus it's easy, just like in any other businesses, if you don't come right cross
