I'd rather they invested in shipping some Russian stars out to the Prague studio. Ed Junior's recent work in Putinland seems to be pretty good, but there is no substitute for the real Sineplex. The Prague studio has superior camera work, direction, make-up, and costuming.

there is one guy that always gets it right and few other guys that sometimes work for Sineplex/LP that also helps he is learning but yeah there is a difference.

Yeah, Russian girls are the best. Sineplex should do whatever is best to get the most Russians - whether it's opening studio in Piter (which seems easier long term), or flying them out. If Sineplex can start getting back the top guys for every scene: Jamaica, Junior, Carlos, and also keep Nacho, Clay, Scott,(and maybe the new guy Chris Diamond), AND get more Russians, then maybe the scenes could be almost at level like the 2011 golden era Sineplex.

Question: Did something change in Russia? Was it previously illegal to produce, and now it is legal? What is the situation?

This is really the main question!
So what really changed?

If most porn people are afraid to shoot there than no good model recruiting market will set up there again for sure.

Of course LP should do everything to go back with a big studio to Piter.
But please consider they had to flee really, it was really starting to get dangerous for them, they arrived in Prague in exile and built it all up again.
There are a lot of investments made in Czech, money, manpower, contacts...they even changed the czech girls attitude to porn, turned them from soft into hardcore-friendly again. Its nothing you just easily leave behind after two years only.
