Looks like LP has gone the cheaper route using a lower bitrate for encoding new scenes. There is an obvious difference in quality compared to prior scenes which is especially noticeable on a good quality 4k TV. As someone that has been purchasing scenes for years, this is very disappointing. I stopped subscribing to Brazzers when they did this as well as other sites. What I never understand is there are cheap bastards out there who demand lower file sizes because they are too cheap to buy another hard drive, does LP as well as other sites actually think these same people pay for high quality porn? No, they are complaining because it takes longer for them to pirate scenes from file sharing sites. If anything, keeping larger file sizes discourages these cheapskates from trying to pirate scenes from other sites. I have 12, 14, and 16 TB drives so better and better quality and even larger file sizes are always encouraged! Facial Abuse has monster file sizes but their quality is top notch, but not everyone is into their style. Some other sites like Anal4K have recently improved their quality immensely as well, larger file sizes too which is fine by me.

Anyway, just wanted to express my disappointment, this will definitely affect how many scenes I buy going forward.

If they want to offer a smaller size for people who are concerned about HD space, great, but they should still offer the 30kbps high quality 4k file (10gb+)!

Personally, I hate the new 15kbps quality! It's a niceable drop on my large OLED TV I use as a monitor. Also, I think the people so concerned about HD space are increasingly rare. The 30kbps size at 4K has been the same the past 7 years, and yet $ per GB HD space has gotten cheaper and cheaper. This move makes no sense.

Also, we pay a ton of money per scene compared to the average porn site. For this reason alone they need to bring back the higher 30 kbps quality.

All the garbage content that is being brought here and flooding the site is obviously taking up a lot of space and bandwidth. Space and bandwidth that costs a lot of money.
We have already seen how the tickets have been devalued and prices have increased in order to fund this content that nobody wants and nobody asked for.
And now we see the image quality of the video files reduced as a measure to keep the costs down.

The better solution would have been not to bring massive amount of garbage amateur videos filmed on a phone camera here in the first place.
We have already informed the owner of the website about this. But there has been no response.

You see, here on analvids.com the customers get fucked in the ass just as much as the girls in the videos!

Yep, get rid of all the amateur garbage scenes (20+ per day) so they can keep the higher bitrate for 4k scenes, especially for the price we pay per scene. I have never one complained about ticket prices, the premium quality and the piss content made the price per scene worth it to me. I have spent a lot of money here.

I have 50+ Jolee Love scenes, and many scenes of Julia Red, Ivy Maddox, Mia Trejsi, Safira Yakkuza, NiciXDream, Syren Demer, etc etc. These girls shoot piss content so I buy most of their scenes. Do they really think I am going to continue paying a premium price for lower quality scenes of models I already have? For instance, the new Jolee Love scene, why the fuck would I pay the ticket price for this new lower quality scene with I already have like 50 scenes with her in higher quality? I would never watch it! If this new lower quality persists, I will just enjoy the high quality collection I have of LP, and continue to support sites that place an emphasis on video quality over garbage quantity of crap scenes like 5 people might buy.

Given the number of videos/studios it's applying to, it appears to be a permanent change, unless they listen to feedback.

For comparison, they're now losing to the American studio Jules Jordan (24kbps); and are on par with what has always been overly compressed Evil Angel network (15kbps). Not to even the really high bitrate studios again.

The issue is made worse by the fact that many major studio releases here are 4K 50 fps. Even at 24 fps 16 megabits/second is barely adequate, but at 50 fps these scenes are going to be extremely bitrate starved. Thankfully the reduction in quality doesn't currently appear to apply to older scenes. As a collector I am concerned that we will see a repeat of what happened on MindGeek and Gamma owned sites where it is not only the new releases, but much of their back catalogue has been transcoded with significantly degraded quality just to save on bandwidth costs. Some of this quality loss could be offset by switching to a more modern codec such as AV1 or HEVC but as these are much more computationally expensive I expect that it would put too much pressure on already struggling servers.

Really disappointed if this is a new policy across all the major studios. This website is by far the most expensive porn site out there, so I want to actually get the best quality 4K videos for the amount of money I pay.

There should be an option for a top quality download option. If i'm paying a lot for a scene I want the best quality there is.

The hjohjole anwser makes some sense if we thought in the quantity of releases per day and the capacity of storagement necessary is each day more big......

We want high quality of video and sound in the main studios, as davebowman said. AV is one of the most expensive porn sites and the content worth it but a maximun quality of videos is more than requiered.

Lately there are less support and comunication here...

Yep, that is why I will never subscribe to any of those sites, including Evil Angel which used to be a favorite. Many sites encoded their 1080P videos with 12000 bitrate, LP now encodes their 4k vids using a 15000 bitrate which is ridiculous. LP took a gamble that video quality wouldn't matter to most people, but the only thing we can do is vote with our wallet. At least I have tons of high quality videos of the type content I enjoy, if I never buy another video here I will be happy. Will likely use my remaining tickets to buy older scenes now that the video quality is not worth downloading/paying high prices for anymore. If you want to lower the video quality using HALF the bitrate you used to, ticket prices should also be cut in half!

Everything that is happening lately on these platforms is absurd even the studios or at least some are having problems with earnings and visibility and I also read about some sabotage ... I would not think badly but I think he is managing lately this website is doing something very clever to the detriment of buyers and studios...I do not want to be indiscreet but a scam is starting from what I'm understanding... This choice to publish so much amateur content is damaging some of the professional studios that we like so much and are risking to make them stop producing until it turns into Xvideos ... Now after the problem of the rising cost of tikets are also starting other problems of video quality this should make us understand that in reality the website earns in other ways and is interested in having many products instead of focusing on a few products and good and customers Faithful

I remember some years ago i was hyped to see new updates on the site and there weren't that many scenes but the quality of content was way better. Nowadays theres like 1 scene a week i would be interested in but still not enough to consider to buy it for the price. Economy is struggling with inflation so people have less money anyways for "luxury" like porn. Yet they have to invest more to get less then they used to. Studios or the site owner try to compensate that by increasing the prices which again leads to lower sales, i mean thats baisc economy knowledge. And thats why studios starve.

I as many others here am extremely disappointed. Especially in PORNWORLD.COM which has been my favourite site with incredible videos quality from about June 2020 to recently (just before this POOR COMPRESSION IMPLEMENTATION).

GP2641 is 6.2GB and 54 mins so it looks like if they have reverted it then it isn't showing yet.

I have cancelled my AV/LP subscription and my PW subscription but I still have quite a few months to run on the PW sub
