Btw, dont get me wrong: Most great porn directors started as actors - like JYL, Christophe Clark, Giorgio Grandi etc.

But I also see a lot doubtful part-time or full-time transfers like Freddy Gong (https://pornbox.com/application/studio/308 - 5 scenes only, but I think he had/has also an own Berlin studio) up to quite successful, mainly internal Italian porn market geared Luca Ferrero (https://pornbox.com/application/studio/406). Just realized that Tony Brooklyn after 18y of acting only is just about to take his Great Leap Forward!

It's odd that it seems to be the most joyless/aggressive guys who branch out to directing. Godshack, Ferrero, now Brooklyn. I find it convenient as it makes it easier for me to avoid their scenes. I've bought a few from Godshack's stable but generally there's too much manhandle (and also pussy fucking) for my tastes. The plus side is that this has left Giorgio's studs as the younger, more enthusiastic, harder fucking and (crucially) least manhandle-y bunch, which means Giorgio's stuff is my "go to" of late and better than it has been for a long time. Hopefully this continues.

It's kind of inconceivable what Tony Brooklyn's directorial content would look like. By the end of his Giorgio days he was the most fussy, irritable male porn performer it's possible to imagine. I'm staggered that he would think he would be able to create hot and horny content but as with Godshack, if he isn't in the scenes it's a bonus and I would certainly look at the trailers. But I miss the days of the porn director being enthusiastic about and gushing in praise towards the girls and creating a relaxed and horny atmosphere as the backdrop for hardcore anal fucking. Christoph Clark was the absolute master of speaking sexily and respectfully to the girls and getting them to sizzle as a result. Jean Yves Le Castel used the same method but for me was generally a bit sneering and disrespectful to the girls with it. He had a bit of a superiority thing going on for me.
