Known talents with a proven record of performing and selling from the USA probably already charge more.
Having additional office(s) there, would probably eat into the profits for studios who publish their work on AV/PB.

I'm really no expert on US porn, but market seems quite consolidated there and investment to set up sth new pretty high. Also LP seems to have been unfortunate with own little US studios so far. Last one who wanted to shoot there mainly and really felt the LP needs was Pineapple, but he suddenly disappeared.

Anyway, as far as I understand US fees are pretty low currently and more imports are planned again. Travel options opened up again, too. But of curse nobody will import a no-name rookie to test her market in Europe because for this travel costs are just too high.

It could still actually be an opportunity for US girls willing to invest themselves into their career. EU fees are really pretty high at the moment! But she'd have to say goodbye to that slow US step-by-step culture. Anna de Ville could actually be a role model here.

I think US girls have more market power than ever before. They shoot a handful of scenes with big studios and then disappear behind the OF pay walll. There they can shoot what they want and demand what they want.

Well, sure their porn upbringing or business standards are different. Its two different worlds and it becomes more and more difficult to mix them. ^But you can't compare US DAP scenes with EU DAP scenes. It's a whole other level visually and also for the girls. 95% of all US DAP scenes are shot with the same ridiculous mini dicks. A DAP scene with John Strong, Jules Jordan, Zac Wilde or Dupree have ZERO impact. They're thin little pencils. The girls who shoot US DAP scenes would get a shock if they saw the GONZO guys.

Travel costs are quite high right now, is probably main cost and time to travel is another, money and time, huge expenses.

Are you "Porn Historian"? But i agree that A-scenes are pretty common in Europe. In US, it takes some time for girls to get their first A-scenes. Also it could be part of the strategy to get it on for example Tushy or Deeper to get maximum money from that. I think Gianna Dior anal scene was for Evilangel and we had to wait some time.

Stick mostly with European and nearby talents, nothing like more 'local girls' who are extremely hot, willing and great at what they do.

As for American talents, you can release scenes with them from time to time...as you are currently.
LPAV has a good record of being able to get American talents to perform here from time to time, for Giorgio's studios and/or Gonzo.
There is no need to exclusively start heading in that direction and purposefully trying to get more American models here. Some are definitely needed to expand and develop the next phase of LPAV, but the priority should still be European and nearby girls.

There are no laws in this regard. Studios only fear banks and credit card companies.

I agree completely. The entire USA scene is woefully underrated by many contributers here. Its like they never got past 1980's 'blue movies with big hairdo's & Duran Duran type soundtrack.
