RT Documentary 'The Price of Vice' with former AV performers

Postby bdsmpretty » Sat Apr 23, 2022 3:07 pm

"It's easy to get into the industry for us girls from Russia and the post-Soviet space, because we are bright, beautiful and both the fans and directors really love us." Kira Queen.

And So Say All Of Us!

Kira Queen, Lola Taylor and others (Trigger Warning: PW's 'Porn Factory' featured).

Maybe someone has posted this already, but if you haven't seen it, here you go:

episode 1. Porn - How Women Get Into The Industry.
https://rtd.rt.com/series/price-of-vice ... episode-1/

episode 2. Porn - How Women Get Out Of The Industry.
https://rtd.rt.com/series/price-of-vice ... -industry/

episode 3. Russian Women Expolited in UAE & Asia (Sex Trafficking).
https://rtd.rt.com/series/price-of-vice ... episode-3/

episode 4. How The Industry Works.
https://rtd.rt.com/series/price-of-vice ... ndustry-4/

It's from RT Documentary, so if you can't view because your government 'are-what-they-are', then try RT's channel at Rumble or Odysee.
Another option I've heard suggested (I haven't tried it tbh) is to change your DNS cloud to yandex.ru (you can change it back after watching). DNS settings in Firefox are found here: Firefox > General > Network Settings > Settings > Check boxes.

In total (4 parts) it's about 90 minutes and it's actually pretty interesting, especially if you are just generally curious about how women in the adult industry in Russia survive in that context (which is a long way away from the California/Los Angeles world of bubblgegum porn).

It's also relatively balanced, for something that I originally thought may steer towards negative sensationalism.
So you have stars and adult industry production people being allowed to have their say (freely and uninterrupted), but - in the interests of representing both sides (which is what any debate should do) - you have the critical voices (religious, medical).

Part 3 is also very necessary viewing, as (however much anyone likes their porn an/or prostitution by free-will), sex trafficking and outright exploitation with threats/coercion/violence is *always* abusive and criminal behaviour.

And respect due to all the Russian performers who participated.

And just to get my retaliation in first (because I know it's coming)...

Yes, I am posting an RT documentary about the adult industry in Russia on a forum that has an interest in the adult industry in Russia because (checks notes) I am literally in love with Vladimir Putin.

You see right through me...

I liked RT.COM, they had fantastic documentaries, such as this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bqOnte897A

The only downside was they contradicted themselves quite a lot in the stance they took week by week.

However all in all, far preferential to CNN bullshit.

Look, I love Russia, but I think Putin was very wrong here. I think he crossed a line.

My love of Russia & Russians is summrise below in this beautiful song, in Turgenev, in Pushkin. I can read cyrillic, but in 'shorthand'... Yo govaro nemnoga Paruski, erta krasevia yzik, ochen bagati:

I'm educated & I've lived. The love of my life was a Belarussian Russian.

I wish you well, but you're wrong, I feel defending Putin.

The Putin reference was tongue in cheek, but maybe it's a lost in translation thing.
Anyway (just for future reference) in the English language 'social media verse' the "checks notes" line usually preceeds something blatantly sarcastic to rebut an absurd accusation.

Though, thinking seriously about it...

if I was forced to go on a date with either Joe Biden, Boris Johnson or Vladimir Putin...

I'm going to go with Volodya every time.

So who would you choose??

Btw, if you still haven't worked out what the Ukraine thing is all about, I can recommend this (I watched it earlier this evening so can fully endorse it as essential context. Anything Scott writes is must-read, and any appearance is must-see.

Unregistered 207: Scott Ritter. https://piped.kavin.rocks/watch?v=p6HI_26aU-c

The most important thing to remember is that this conflict did not start on February 24th 2022. It started in 2014.
And by conflict, I mean full-scale and armed conflict (8 years!), so constant artillery bombing and infantry/sniper firing on Russian-speaking Ukrainian civilians by Ukrainian Nationalist/NeoNazi military and paramilitaries.
14,000 deaths and vastly more injured (and you can add in tortures, rapes, beatings, kidnapping, arson, the lot).

Putin tried for 8 years to negotiate a peace (that's what Minsk/Minsk II was intended to achieve), but at every stage the US and the Ultra-Nationalists/NeoNazis blocked the Ukrainian govt from keeping to the commitments it signed up to in order to provoke Russia.

So exactly how many more deaths of Russian-speaking Ukrainians, Russian-Ukrainians, and Russians living in Ukraine (remember Russia and Ukraine were the same 'country/union' until only 30 years ago) were the Russians supposed to accept before taking matters into their own hands and solving the problem in their own way and on their own terms?

Yes this was an entirely avoidable conflict that could have been settled via diplomatic means. But ony Russia was trying to achieve that. That is recorded in the documented facts and that is how history will remember it.

The rest is propaganda, hysteria and meaningless noise on social media.

Look, you can't dismiss enforced famine of '30's NKVD KUNTS that pushed Ukrainians to prefer Hitlers armies, right?

I shouldn't have to be explaining this to you, you should know this already.

I'm actually uncomfortable talking from armchair of peoples starvation & misery.
