Is 'Foes' feature equivalent to 'blocking' or only one way?

Is 'Foes' feature equivalent to 'blocking' or is it only one way?

I've listed as 'foes' certain members I want no further interactions with on this site.

As far as I understand the feature (first time I've tried it) this means I don't have to see their posts (yes?/no?).
But is this two way (ie. will they still see my posts?).

Thanks in advance to anyone who can explain this one a bit more clearly.

I’ve only set up a few people here as foes, but I think it is one way. I.e. if you’ve set them as a foe you don’t have to see their posts anymore, but they can still see yours.

Would be nice if it is bilateral.

Thanks for the clarification Vagabundo.

Tbh, I don't much care if they see my posts, so not a big problem. Though (as you say) 'both way blocking' would be ideal.
But not being exposed to their junk opinions will at least remove the temptation for me to engage and waste my time.

We shall see.
