Wasn't this amateur content supposed to be filler content during the pandemic while the regular studios where having difficulties to produce normally?
Well now things are more or less back to normal again and the regular studios are producing more or less at their regular rate. But not only is this amateur garbage still here it is actually INCREASING !?!?

We regular users have been complaining for a while now about this. But are the professional producers really fine with all of this?
On other porn websites they promote their premium content with large graphics, high quality images and information about upcoming scenes and so on. All to make the browsing visitor excited and ready to spend some money. But here all the releases are just bunched together and puked out each day in a big stream of seance that all get equal focus and attention. The premium scene with a huge money investment gets treated exactly the same as the girl making a video with her boyfriend and a handy cam.
If i was running a professional porn studio and releasing my content here on av/pb i would be furious about this. I would find it unacceptable.

There are so many times that i have missed scenes that i wanted to see simply because i was not able to find them among all the garbage and trash.
I discover them weeks or months later by accident or only because someone made a post about it in the forum. Its fucking ridiculous!

Most problem is that there isn't any efficient filter on the store page.
If we could hide solo stuff and non anal stuff it would already help a little.

It is crazy but I completely scroll everything except Giorgio, Gonzo, Natasha Teen Productions/SSNatashaTeen, Yummy Estudios, and Angelo's new studio

You will be presented with all studios, progressively, at the top of some pages and you can decide what to do with them.

So if you click "indifferent" instead of "dislike", for example, does it show you the videos sometimes but not always? In other words is the algorithm to show you videos impacted by your selection or is it just an on/off switch?

Is this change going to create a new view like the "New Scene" and "Feed" tabs or is it going to more fully integrate to the entire site. As I'm curious about what all the choices fully mean since and On and Off switch is only what is required. So the proposed choices are:

Not trying to be difficult but what do they all do
Follow - ???
I Like It - ???
Indifferent - makes content visible to you normally
Disklike it - ???
Hide it - ???

I would assume:
Follow/I Like It/Indifferent - makes content visible to you normally
Dislike It/Hide It - makes content not visible to you normally

Ok. Good to hear that you are at least trying to do something about this.

The problem is that the content i dont want to see are from individuals not actual studios.
And for whatever reason all of thees amateur individual producers all get their own "studio" here on the platform.
I really hope that i dont have to go in to the preview of each and every "studio" to give my vote to remove them. That would take a very, very long time.

I think more and more AV should be divided in two, the AV/LP we used to know, and another platform for those small independent amateur studio.

Those decisions will impact the entire site for you.

BTW we have a rework of the feeds page coming too (but not next week), to allow you to fully customize it.

Posted about this in some other thread months back and it's just gotten worse I see. For a start just sort out the homepage for guests and users who don't want to have to sign in all the time to filter out the rubbish. Just leave out the solo/only fans 8 minute scenes and any other 30 second pointless trailer garbage for that matter.

Oh and for piss scenes, do we really need two trailers? Just for the users who don't like piss just easily imagine the scene without it and know there's an edited version also to buy. I think studios don't have enough information to understand how could they improve their sales
by satisfying customer desires better, And what I think will happen is that, because studios find it too hard to
find an audience, a lot of the will quit, and we as customers will always be stuck watching rookie productions.

Actually it is the reverse that is happening now. I actually think people shooting OF like videos will make more money here as they don't have to pay any co-stars (most time they shoot content sharing), cameramen, directors or even editors.

You think it is clear which studios should be part of the site or excluded but it is only a personal representation. Others would have a different opinion. This is why we are adding this feature.

Not only is this a simplistic and outdated point of view but you completely missed the point : even if everyone agreed on what a studio is, others may prefer to have various content creators here that you do not like, studio or not, and vice versa.

Let me add that we do not want to be in the position to decide what you should watch or what is available to you, nor do we want our users to dictate what others should watch or not.

We prefer to resolve those conflicts through algorithms and personal filters.

pornbox is a clip store it has been and will continue to be like that
that said if there are more than 30 Videos on a single day it's hard to keep track of it so personal filters are a good sign

This place have never been a clip store. Sure, the businesses-model have always been pay per scene, but there is where the similarities to a clip store ends.
A clip store is a place where anyone and everyone can register in order to release anything. This have always been a place where professional porn studios with big money budget release their quality content. And the superior quality of this content have been the very reason for this sites success.
In the beginning this started as the internet distribution for the studio Sineplex, who had previously only released on DVD. More studios was added after that but they where all professional studios.

As i mentioned in my earlier post this amateur content was brought here as filler content during the pandemic while the regular studios where having difficulties to produce normally. And models where having difficulties to work normally.

I'm liking the new feature so far but please do something about the behind the scenes content. Let us hide the BTS content, I have no interest in it at all. I was deciding whether to dislike the Xfreax studio because I thought I may have bought only 1 scene from the 115 scenes listed. So I started looking at fetishes I'm interested in and found:
TAP had 7 of 7 scenes BTS
TP had 5 of 5 scenes BTS
DV no content
DA had 40 of 44 scenes BTS
DP had 22 of 24 scenes BTS
I shouldn't have to go through this frustrating exercise to find a scene I want to purchase. 93% of the scenes offered were BTS in the fetishes I was interested in

At least 63% of this studio content was BTS but I think it is more

I choose to hide all studios that had a terrible thumbnail picture representing all of their content.
