how many people here actually are in sexual relationship?

I think when you are, you tend to lose interest in porn, particularly if its an emotionally satisfying one. Sex becomes just another box to tick, like having lunch.

Interest in porn isn't just interest in sex. It's also interest in other women. And the only way a guy can lose interest in other women is if he is having so much sex, that he is sexually exhausted. Because being satisfied with one woman, doesn't necessarily mean that you don't want any other woman, unless you are totally exhausted.

Monogamous sexual relationships are overrated.

I would say this day & age they're actually underrated.

Nobody so far replied to the actual question. And I guess it doesn't really matter.

I think its an interesting question because I am past few months with someone. It happened with a lady I used work with & I approached her after she left company & its going well. Its my first in about 10 years (I shyed away from relationships for long time as too many soul-draining experiences), we're physically, intellectually, & emotionally comfortable with each other (we're both a bit out of shape) & its nice so far.

But I guess my point is, that in this situation I am very conservative & vanilla. I would've thought that being on site like this, one would be experimental etc. But I don't care for that. And more, now that I'm doing the business most nights & mornings, I'm not even thinking of sex during day, whereas before, in one way or another it was always there.

What I'm trying to say is that porn doesn't seem to have made me into a freaky guy, now that I'm in relationship. I thought it would.

To answer the original poster: no. At this stage of my life, I am happier with the straightforward 'get what you pay for' nature of porn, strippers, escorts etc. There are benefits to being in a relationship, but there are also a ton of downsides: mindgames, arguments, jealousy, having to spend time and money doing crap you don't want to do just to keep the other person happy, etc. Then there's the whole thing of the fact you are still ultimately paying for sex, but instead of being direct, it's hidden in wining and dining, buying presents, paying bills etc. Porn/sex work is more honest, in my opinion.

That said, if some scorching hot sexual deviant girl crossed my path in real life, I'm sure I'd be up for a relationship - but as I'm no longer a 20-something male with a six-pack or a multi-millionaire I really doubt that's going to happen! :p

Congratulations Netzerkaiser!

I have been in a long term relationship for more than 30 years. I would have stayed just for the kisses and hugs. Relationships are not primarily about sex. Sex is the additional spice. Then I must say that over time to keep it interesting it does help to experiment and also to seek inspiration from elsewhere.

Take the opportunity to get in shape together. We go to the gym together and it is much easier to get a habit if you do it together. You can start out light but typically as you see progress, you will if you hang in but it might take 6 months, adding repetitions and weight are exciting goals.

I can answer it clearly, I am in a sexual relationship.
I am also saying it is extremely overrated.

I would much rather have preferred my life when I was single.
I am not the only one in that boat either. Most men end up being quite bitter about relationships.

Absolutely. The more sex I am having the less time i spend on porn and the less interest I have. It just seems to work that way I can't explain it :)

If I go a few days or a week without sex I find myself watching a lot more porn, and vice versa.
