I am actually satisfied with current content.

Since there are so many whiners, I thought that I should balance with some positive critique.

In my opinion, Georgio is as good as ever and the piss scenes have developed including girl on girl and girl on guys, much appreciated. I also think the TS scenes are great with talented performers. Interesting to see new tricks you wouldn't see in pure hetero scenes. I prefer TS where there is also another cis girl.
Also the BTS is a huge improvement from the past.

There are some new studios that are very interesting.
Eden Ivy only has a few scenes but they are and she is fantastic.
Angelo Godshack studio has started off great!
Mambo Perv needs better film/editing but the sex and the girls are great.

Yummy Studio steams of sex. The Latin girls doing Samba on cocks and showing huge gapes is so pleasant. Especially when Polly serves the drinks!
Sam Zee is creative.

I hope Bangbros will do some wet scenes, that more studios will do better trailers and that we will get more guys licking gapes Adriano style. I guess patience will be rewarded.

Keep up the good work!

Good start, that negative criticism is immediately labeled as whining.

Positive or at least constructive criticism is valuable.
Unfortunately the forum is filled with comments that are not constructive, just complaining that not all the scenes are done to their liking.
I think that most readers are not interested in reading about your complaints and the studios for sure do not care as long as the scenes sell.
With a more positive attitude, the forum will be more interesting to read. Often it is just depressing.

i agree!!!!

but i think its normal viewers complaining things they dislike or want to see...

In my point of view porn should only enjoy, no rules no fixed no- goes or must haves.

i confess i to have some preferences, but some girls /scenes dont have these and they work best in my head.

It would be a lot more interesting to do less complaining, less analystic, but just be open to enjoy, feeling free to skip if its not enjoyable for maybe everybody....

I obviously love LP myself, that's why my library looks the way it does, my only criticism is usually things they do already that I want to see more, like more BBC gangbangs, more balls deep, more prone bone, more longer scenes, more cuming on the girls face and not just the mouth, more pissing on the girls face and not just the mouth, more standing positions, more trains, more chair bangs, more wall bangs, more window bangs, more table bangs, more pounding, make those buttcheeks sound, more girls rimming guys, more costumes and casual outfits, things like that. So my criticism is never to do things differently because they already do a good job, my criticism is for them to do more of the great things they already do.

I agree. Its great logging on once a day to 'new scenes' these days.

+ 1

I wouldnt call negative critic whinging always, though.
Some things occur again and again and are frizzed again because nobody from studio(s) seem to care. But all in all I still usually find 1 scene per day I can buy without much thinking because I know I will enjoy that scene. And thats the most important! :)

Good to add some much needed positivity. I’m also a long time supporter of LP and defy anyone to name a site that comes close to it.

However…
Whining is sometimes just criticism from people who can’t be bothered or don’t have the language to explain in detail what AV could do better.
It is equally valid in my view, in the same way that what I would consider uninformed people get one vote in elections, the same as I do.

The sheer volume of criticism recently does imply that a significant portion of the user base are dissatisfied with the direction of the site.
Personally I’m disappointed whenever I log on to check new scenes and find, like last night, that it’s almost exclusively 1 on 1 scenes.
I think there was only one single scene with 2+ on 1 (not counting possibly neighbours which I ignore on principle) and it was not featuring a girl I’m interested in.

That said, tonight is a cracker and there have been some terrific scenes recently: Kelly Oliveira, Mia Tresji, Ella Elastic so I really can’t complain overall.
Maybe my constructive criticism would be to ensure a good balance of scene types per night to avoid that deflated feeling.
But of course I know you can’t please all the people all of the time.

I've always been one to point out that people can't expect every scene to be 100% catered towards their kinks. People complaining about there being too few 0% anal scenes lately is just meaningless noise.

But I've also been complaining quite a bit recently over broader changes to the website that are dragging it downhill, regardless of the actual content they are releasing.

From scenes being released that look like the camera had a pair of pantyhose over it (though it looks like they actually made the good decision to just remove this scene):
Image

To scenes releasing for, no joke, TWO HUNDRED TKTS:
https://pornbox.com/application/watch-page/182917
(yes, it's an 18 minute scene)

To scenes being improperly tagged (resulting in things like gay content being tagged as straight and showing up on the front page)

To the standard for 3rd party scenes usually costing around 10 tkts with no trailer

To things like this: viewtopic.php?f=68&t=36388
Where they quietly turned a scene into a VR-only scene after it had been purchased as a non-VR scene. I figured they would just reupload the file that was originally posted alongside the VR version, but apparently, they just decided that people who bought that scene in the past will just have to accept that it's only VR now. And yes, the trailer is still in non-VR, but if you purchased the scene, there was no option to download the non-VR version.

All of these complaints have nothing to do with the content, but are indicative of a declining user experience. The purpose of the complaints is hoping that PB will do something to fix them, but as more and more complaints stack up without any resolution, I'm growing less optimistic.

I think it shows that a smallish number of people active in the forum are dissatisfied.
I don't think we customers have any information about what the bulk of the user base thinks, or how much they are buying.

I agree that quality control for content uploads seems to be lagging behind the explosion in quantity of content, and it's causing problems. Although they did give you back your tickets for that VR scene. The other scene for 200 tickets looks like a data entry error because the rest of that studio's scenes seem more conventionally priced.

True, I have zero real insight and the increase in criticism I referred to is purely my perception, not data based.
I’m assuming that the active forum members are a representative sample of the entire customer base.
The same way any other company judges customer satisfaction - through surveys & online engagement.
I realise that people tend to post more when they’re unhappy than when happy with a product or service and that none of this is scientific. Maybe if the customer base is bigger overall and people complain more than they praise, that explains what FEELS like more whining.

As one-offs, I wouldn't be too concerned, but all of these things happening just shows how leaky their system is.

The VR scene being refunded, while being "fair", is still a TERRIBLE indication for where this site is headed. I occasionally delete scenes I've downloaded from here to save disk space, on the assumption that I will be able to retrieve it at a later time. That's honestly one of the main features that makes PB attractive; that you always have access to scenes you buy rather than being locked behind a monthly paywall. But now, apparently, they can change a scene that you already purchased into a format that is unusable. Obviously it's not a huge threat because most scenes don't have a VR version to go along with it, but this sets a really scummy precedent and makes me much more hesitant in using this site in the future. It's a terrible customer experience.

You're probably right. I don't know either. But I guess that forum users are a noisy minority and not necessarily representative of porn customers in general who may prefer privacy and be reticent about volunteering opinions.

Customers vote with their wallets, and we fans don't know how well, or otherwise, sales are going wth the expanded Pornbox business model.

Well that scene wasn't listed as VR at all until you get to the small print of the description (who even reads that?).

So I agree it's wrongly labelled for sale, and presumably will be creating more chaos, admin costs and refunds to dissatisfied customers who discover they can only get a VR file.

You would think it would be in their interests to fix silly errors like this.

In fairness, I think it's more cockup than conspiracy, so not a "scummy" precedent. They refunded you straight away and it looks like a simple error. Maybe the non-VR file got corrupted or removed in error? But not good quality control.

Agree when someone wrote that people become active precisely when they are dissatisfied. That's how it goes. That is also true of me. In my own country, there is a saying that the people are pleased when politicians say that "today is going badly, tomorrow even worse and the day after tomorrow there is a catastrophe." That is, people here find pessimism natural but optimism unnatural. A politician who predicts hard times is credible while a politician who predicts good times lacks credibility.

But as far as the topic itself is concerned, I sign that it is important and right to praise when there is a reason for that. I think Kelly Oliveira is the best LP/AV has been offering for a long time. I'm just praying to keep her here for even longer. She is super hot and super sexy! My second absolute favorite is Megan Venturi! You just can't get bored of her. It's great to still see her here! Those like them should definitely be able to hold on.

I agree that dissatisfied people are more noisy than contented ones. Also that Megan is beautiful.

But I do not think the analogy with politicians works.

I think that people around the world repeatedly vote for "good news" politicians who cynically sell false promises of good times round the corner.

In the same way, people continually buy stupid diet pills, miracle skin creams, fake cures for baldness and covid, and impossible investent schemes.

People delude themselves and hope for the best. Usually it ends badly.

In short, this is called democracy. Unfortunately this whole environment is set up so that only who go there are psychic deviants, careerists who crave power and wealth, sales prostitutes who shake to serve to puppeteers from the gang of coupon printer owners for good luck and the administrators of the planetary raffle...Fools jump on it like a prepared bayonet with which they will be turned on a spit.

Very good observation. Often diverging opinions whos are active here and bestsellers confirm this.

As for topic...Constructive criticism is not bad on the contrary is in place and often needed for the purpose of improvement. But what is necessary is to be able to describe exactly what is wrong or would like to improve. In recent months there have been several topics where some have described it very accurately and erudite. And it is also important to be able to praise and criticism should not be the primary fulfillment here.
