Women LP buyers

Watching that YouTube video with HBO host Nikki Glaser makes me remember how much women are into porn too.

We see users like Vulture and others requesting that type of female porn, so the demand is definitely there.

And it makes me wonder how many female buyers do we have in LP. I imagine it's more than we probably give it credit.

Which is honestly not a bad thing, I mean to have that kind of diversity in porn sites, which LP covers really nicely with all the different types of studios they offer.

Wow. Nice bit of reframing of my commentary to suit your narrative there.

I haven't watched this video you've linked but for the record I don't want "female porn", whatever that is. I want hardcore porn without male dom physical aggression (eg throat-grabbing, face-slapping, wrestling etc.) The fact that you assume that these things are demanded by all males and thus that the oppositional view is "female" says more about you than it does about me. Your position also implies the bizarre notion that all porn made prior to about 2010 (when the more physical style began to dominate) was somehow "female". Really?

By all means campaign for your preferred style of porn but please have the good grace to put forward your own views, whilst not generalising or caricaturing the views of others.

Men and women's porn tastes are not by definition oppositional and never will be. Some men like a male dom style and tone, some don't and the same is true of women. It is all a matter of personal preference.

That's very contentious. I see a lot of studios and scenes on AV/LP but very little diversity. Almost all are heavily male dom with physical aggression and generally feature the same guys. There are numerous other threads already dealing with this.

I'm actually favouring your cause by showing a costumer saying these things. She is clearly into gangbangs, and she is very descriptive about it.

The thing is that not everything has to be the same. If all porn didn't have male domination as you call it, then it will be a bad thing, but at the same time you want different things, and different types of costumer demands accomplish that diversity.

As you can see I'm actually helping you out with that video, and all the things she said, not the other way around.

Does she say anything about male dom and physical aggression? I'm not going to watch the video as I'm not really interested enough in it so why don't you summarise what she says for the purposes of the thread. What are the points she raises that makes her take on porn uniquely female in your opinion? In what way would current AV/LP content satisfy or dissatisfy her based on what she says? It's your thread, put some meat on the bones.

My point is that you're categorising my porn tastes as being "female", which is a caricature and generalisation. I'm like any male porn consumer here in that I like hardcore anal porn, just without the angry male dude vibe that proliferates much of AV/LP. That doesn't make me any more or less "male" in my tastes than anyone else here, unless you take the view that by definition males are angry and physically aggressive during sex, which does not stand up to much scrutiny.

Well, she is female, and she is a good example of what many women want, but are afraid to admit, she just happens to have the confidence to describe the type of porn she likes without feeling she is going to be judged for it. A.lot of women feel the same way, but keep it a secret because they are embarrassed to admit it. So it is a perfect example of things some women enjoy.

But no, I'm not saying all women are limited by the things she said, some probably like more, and some probably like less, but she went into detail about a fair amount of porn women want and pay for. She even admits she pays for it because she wants to support, and that's always a good thing.

So in what sense is that like me? That's very vague, whereas I'm very specific about what I like and not really even that fussy given that my only pre-requisite is a non-angry/manhandle vibe.

Lots of men are obviously secretive about liking porn. Most, in fact. Porn is basically a very private thing, isn't it?

I'm at a loss as to where I come in with this, except to fuel your flimsy narrative that people who like rough, angry porn are by definition more "masculine" than those who don't, which is a lot of rubbish.

It only makes sense if you watch the video. You don't have to watch it, and I don't want to write down everything she said, but I still admire she admits liking gangbangs, and supporting those content creators.

OK but what did you mean by "that type of female porn" in your original post?

I get the feeling I'm flogging a dead horse here and you perhaps don't know yourself but I want to understand why her tastes in porn are somehow similar to mine and what you mean with regard to your distinction between male and female porn. All you're really saying now is that she likes gangbang porn, which doesn't relate in any way to that original post. We all like gangbang porn here, don't we? So isn't she therefore "just one of the blokes"?

I already answered that, she went into detail about the things she likes of gangbangs and the things she doesn't, I just don't feel like repeating everything she said in the Joe Rogan interview.

She obviously doesn't speak for all women, but she is a woman, and in my experience women typically have similar approaches to watching porn, even if not many would admit it, but nothing is really black and white, it is just a generalization like saying women wear skirts, and men wear pants, we know that's not always the case, but it is a fair generalization to make.

I'm not asking you to repeat anything but rather to explain in what way you see her porn preferences as being "female" and in what way they mirror mine. That has nothing to do with what she said as such but more your interpretation of it.

Would it be fair to say that there isn't really anything to this thread beyond an attempt for you to categorise those of us here that don't like your favoured style of physically aggressive porn as "female" and therefore somehow inferior? It seems to tie in with your constant use of "we" when giving your own opinion - perhaps hinting at a little insecurity (guilt even?) or lack of confidence about the sustainability of said porn in the face of quite a few objectors like myself.

I think ultimately you've made a mistake by dragging someone else into a debate without any real substance to make that relevant. I did consider reporting your initial post by way of trolling or misrepresentation or whatever but thought it better to engage with you. I now see that this was really a little worthless but never mind.

Not even close, you nit picked a small sentence and decided to make the thread about that.

The thread is about women liking gangbangs and supporting them by buying, like Nikki describes.

If you are not going to watch the video then stop asking dumb questions because I already told you I'm not going to go through that description

It doesn't have the same effect me talking about it than watching her talk about gangbangs and enjoying seeing women getting fucked by a bunch of men.

If you are not interested just move on. I was nice even mentioning the minority you represent, but you abused the spotlight in the wrong way.

You keep derailing the thread with stuff I already explained at depth, she describes how she loves gangbangs, and that there are elements she doesn't care for in those gangbangs which is the same things you usually say, if you listen to her you know exactly what she is talking about because she is very detailed about it, but you said you don't even want to watch the video, so I would suggest you move on, I mentioned you because I thought you would be interested in what she says, but the thread isn't about that, it is about how women can be costumers too, and that's the point she is making in the video.

There are many women who have rape fantasies and like to watch male dominant porn, most of them would never want that kind of sex in real life, but watching porn is a safe way to enjoy this.
I am a male who do not find any interest whatsoever in dominance or power play. I don't like pain or suffering, not even if it is just acted. I want to watch performers who truly enjoy what they do not including masochists.
I am ok with that there is consensual BDSM but I don't want to watch it and if every scene have some amount of aggression there will be a lot of porn I cannot watch.
Violent porn do not seem to be gender biased, but I haven't read any research so I may be wrong.

Forced gangbang fantasies by women are often, I have heard, due to that if they are forced they do not need to take responsibility for actually wanting to have sex. As we have a sex oppressing society, especially for women, it is a way of having sex without admitting that they like sex.

My Secret Garden by Nancy Friday covers perfectly what women like, what happens is that it is taboo for them to say it.

Nowadays even if you are a guy you can get called out for saying you like that stuff, and some guys would not admit it either.

It's just part of the hypocrisy of society in general. So it is refreshing to see people not caring about those unspoken silly rules, and just say out loud these things.

Very true. I know girls who watch porn much harder than me but in bed they are still almost vanilla. One friend which I know was a virgin at that time (we were 18 at the moment btw) got drunk on a party and asked me to show her the most hardcore scene i've seen. I showed her a video where Manuel Ferrara fucks the brain out of Tori Black which was pretty hardcore for me back then and she was like ,,Nope, I want her to cry and beg him to stop". So that's it, fantasies are fantasies and she did not try anal by herself to this day.
