I can't understand people who's complain about girls and scenes. You have biggest choice of scenes and girls ever to watch. I think that problems of those peoples is too much watch pornography. Other problems is addiction because porn can't satisfied passion like real sex. If you not watch too much porn you can't have problem of scenes and girls.

This is the big problem with your analysis though:

In terms of number of scenes and girls, sure. But the point I'm making along with many others is that there is no variety of scenes across the whole industry. Almost all include male dom antics like throat-grabbing, face-slapping, wrestling etc. so if you don't like those you're screwed. And almost all feature massively over-worked studs who are at best indifferent to what they're doing and at worst seem to genuinely hate it. If like me you're looking for lustful hardcore sex with virile guys who fuck hard without any ego or thuggery and producers who see their role as celebrating and enhancing the heat and sluttiness of the girls then you're out of luck and the sheer amount of porn out there is very much cold comfort.

It's the changing ethos of porn that many of us don't like and this ethos (the studs as the dominant force, the girls merely their prey to be bullied and overpowered) exists across the entire industry. You obviously like this ethos and that's fine but others like me don't. It is entirely valid to compare this ethos with that of, say, 15-20 years ago because for those of us who have experienced both eras they are noticeably very different.

Porn is an art. And those who complain are critics of this art.

I think art criticism is a legitimate and a necessary thing to do. Because critics help to improve art by pointing out its flaws and suggesting ways to do it better.

According to Leo Tolstoy, the purpose of any art is to affect people's feelings and get people to feel something that they wouldn't feel otherwise. He was a novelist. But this is true for films too, including porn-films.

So, porn should be judged by how well it makes the viewers feel sexual desire and lust. Because producing feelings of sexual desire and lust among the viewers is the aim of any porn art. It's this aim that makes it porn, rather than something else.

Criticism and complaint are not the same thing.

IMO few of the complaints made in this forum amount to criticism.
Most are meaningless self-serving whining from individuals who only represent themselves and just personally want to see more, or less, of some random thing.

I think porn is no more, or less, an art form than other popular entertainments, like TV shows or rap music.
Entertainers like to promote themselves as artists when it suits them. But mostly I think they want commercial success.

People who make entertainment media might possibly listen to constructive criticism from a few people, whose opinions they heve learned to value.
But few posters here even try to influence or persuade anyone with any evidence or even arguments.
They only vent their random frustrations.
Which is just noise.
