You used to mention your trips there in order to search for Dora Venter and I couldn't help thinking of you as I was looking around in Budapest or in other, smaller cities where you have a great view wherever you look to and where a good proportion of women scrolling in the street look like our favourite pornstars and dress in a way which could be perceived as provocative, but I will say they know how to enhance their feminity and they are not ashamed to do so.
This, added to the fact that Hungary is a no-mask country at the moment, was great to watch!!
Did you visit Eger? You must! Also a beautiful view from old castles in Holloko & Salgotarjan! Beautiful Bukk Mountains!

I'm sure you've seen shrines to Trianon everywhere in countryside. I don't begrudge Slovaks or Romanians, they are fine proud peoples, but there is something of Hungarys tragic story that touches my soul.
This beautiful sincere young lady those communist bastards executed after '56 particularly resonates. It angers me so much that EU arrogance fails to understand why Eastern Europeans hate being told how to think:

I just finished night shift & I'm too tired to check if above url is free... it should be.
Thanks so much for delightful post. I hope you had / are having great time. Please tell us more, if you can, viewer2, about your travels there - I only know Bukk region & would love to know about other parts. Also, all my holidays there were in deep winter, I must try summer or spring, unfortunately this year all spare time renovating house. Hopefully next year.

This time, I did not travel a lot in the countryside... only Budapest and Dunakanyar but there are already many great landscapes there including Esztergom and Visegrád castle.
Concerning the fascinating Hungarian history as well as the current East/West divide on politics, mentalities, traditions etc., I fully agree with you, and there would be much to say, but I will refrain from writing more on this, because I don't want another political controversy here.
Therefore I will insist on feminine assets in Hungary, which is why I advise everyone to go there and we will all agree on it!
