I try to be a good person. That’s all anyone can do.

People usually think of themselves as being good, no matter what they do. Even Hitler probably thought he was good, until the day he killed himself.

Being good in your own eyes is the easiest thing in the world. Because people usually rationalize any evil they do and make it look good to themselves.

And there is no easy solution to this problem of being biased in your own favor, no matter what you do. You can only try to put yourself into another person's shoes and look at yourself through their eyes. But even this is hard. Because the more different is your situation is from that of the other person, the harder it is to imagine yourself in his or her shoes in an accurate and realistic way. Self-bias affects everything, including such imagination.

A good person will never say he's good...

Every new born child has the potential to be a great person, but this society currups everyone... They create their own monsters, then they punish them for being monsters...

Whether or not you’re “good” is something defined by your peers. You can only try to meet the standard you think you should be meeting.

As far as people getting corrupted, well, I hate to break it to you, but that is a constant throughout human history. We are corruptible. It is in our nature. Part of the challenge of life is to avoid that, if you can, and to better yourself if you find yourself walking the wrong path.

You are right, i have seen enough pretends to be smart/good dumb guys, most of them are fools, they think they are something, teaching us their dumb ideology is the funniest thing to listen.

I think i'm a good person.

But i've made mistakes in my life that are now making me do things that are not-good.

I consistently chased the wrong women. Now i'm in my mid-thirties trying to find someone remotely as good as the girls i passed up on in my 20s.

The thing a lot of younger people don't realize is that women of their age don't stay available forever. Over time, young women find boyfriends and husbands, and they have kids.

So, if you don't find someone in your teens or early 20s, then later finding someone becomes a lot harder. You have fewer women to choose from. And those that are available might have kids or some problems.

It would be nice for young people to know this, while they are still young. But unfortunately nobody tells them this. And they find out for themselves, only when they get older and realize that their situation has changed.

I'm definitely not a good person, but I don't see myself as a bad person either.
