If you had £/ E / $ 250k to spare to spend on yourself, what would you spend it on?
Me I'd buy a property in rural Hungary, rural France, rural Czech.... & a few other 'rurals', 30 k - 50 k each & just spend free time between them. Money needed to do them up of course.
Interested in others views.

I would ask the bank for loan for the same amount of money,
make a business plan to lure investors for another 500 k
mind my own business in such a way
the capital doubles every 2 years, give or take.
And invest the left over money, into amazon, or tesla. lol

you come to dominican republic, with that money you buy 8 or 9 apartments @ 25000 each and you rent it for 200 dollar a month thas 1,800 dollars every month clean as you do not pay property taxes. then live life worry free....the 250000 will buy a 3 room apartment...come on over let me know.

Apartments won't last 35yrs, to get the investment back, it will take 20 years, you won't make 10 apartments with that price after 35 years... Cost increases 10% every year... Always invest in Land, never invest in Gold or apartments... The one who owns the land can rule the world... Hi tech Farming is nextgen business

Land is the smartest long term investment you can make, followed closely by precious metals, but keep in mind that those are only valuable to you in a recession and they’re only worth buying when the economy is doing well, so in the short term you’re going to lose money on them. They’re a security blanket for when things get bad.
All this other shit, apartments, business investments, securities, crypto, etc. is all gambling in one form or another. You never know how those things are gonna turn out. Obviously, an apartment is less of a gamble than an “investment” in dogecoin or GameStop or whatever. You can make a shit ton of money on bets like those, but you can also lose a shit ton of money, and most of the difference comes down to luck.

I honestly can’t remember now, LOL. I think it’s a holdover from when the karma system was still enabled here like 7-8 years ago.
