Tech query:anyone else struggling with downloading on Edge?

I have previously been using Edge browser, as it gave me the ability to resume interrupted downloads without having to restart all the way from the beginning (very frustrating when spending a couple of hours downloading a large 4K scene file). It looks like there might have been some update at some point, as the layout is slightly different, and now I'm suddenly getting issues, with Edge saying that files have been 100% downloaded, but when I go to play them they are corrupted. The file sizes are also ever so slightly smaller than they should be, so obviously they are really only about 99% complete. But I can't find any option to tell Edge to 'recheck' the file, or just overwrite the missing bit - it has to download right back from the start again.

Before I switch browsers, has anyone else been having this - or know of a workaround?

Actually, it may only be myself who was having issues with this - but just in case someone else out there is, I managed to fix it. For some reason when downloading videos directly to my external harddrive they would say they were complete when only at 99% and unplayable as the missing bit would be somewhere in the middle of the video. However, if I save directly to my laptop first, and then transfer the completed file to the hardrive then Edge works perfectly. Weird, but there you go!

Yeah I never had issues with Edge because I download directly.

Those downloading managers all sucked for me, so I stick with Edge.

It hasn't failed so far, but I'm not getting any videos lately because it seems costumer support has been in vacation.

I wonder who can I contact because I can't subscribe until someone can remove those Sinemale videos and those trans Sineplex ones.

Maybe someone can point me at the owners, or the investors, or the companies managing the transactions because it is getting a little ridiculous no one responds here.

Is it Epoch? I can't remember.
