Perhaps it is in the script, is as you say. Script writers makes black guys nicer than white because of racial tensions and overtones in society.

Well, I see a number of scenarios, depending on the girl and decided before the scene. In one scenario, the girl directs the battle, picking which side starts, proclaims the winner(s) of each round and perhaps has some say in how rounds are played out (positions, number of guys, etc.).

I would say I Don't Care/ The Ratio Is OK forms a subgroup which is not interested in any change either way and which is winning the poll pretty comfortably.
