I saw a post from someone in Canada in another conservation about how no one in their 30s should date people under the age of 18 ( in my country age of consent is 14).

I agree but to me it is weirder when I see a 18 year old dating a dude in his 50s then a 20 year old dating a 16 year old.

For example, I think there was a porn star (Marsha May) and two of her friends (all 18) who had an orgy with 3 other girls who were 14.

They got in huge trouble and although no prison, got 10 years in probation and sex offender list for life.

It is so strange that (although immoral) that event carries a huge stigma But 10 dudes in their 20's, 30s, 40s and 50s gangbanging an 18 year old for the world to see is just another day.

Anyway just wanted to see what all your thoughts are.

edit: but most importantly people, please follow the laws of your country to the letter!

It doesn't really matter what people think about who should and who shouldn't be having sex with who. This is something that is entirely up to the individuals that are going to have sex.
If you have reached the age of concent you can freely choose your sex partner. You can legally consent to sex. The same law applies no matter if you are 16, 30 or 99. Unless of course your country have some additional laws about sex that also needs to be followed.

In europe, it is mostly 16 years old, but quite a few countries have 14 or 15. Vatican has 12, for instance (Before the bad jokes come, it is for heterosexual relations )

I think in france they don't really have one, as there was a story a couple of years ago with a guy in late 20s or early 30s that had sex with a 11 years old girl and he was not found guilty cause it was mutual decision.
