If you had a 'sticky' with all the contact details necessary for prospective models but, and this is the important part, with no facility to actually post or reply to the thread, then that would completely negate the need for threads like this. There's never been a "need" for these threads. Anyone genuinely interested in modelling could find the contacts they need with a little searching on the forum.
So IMO people will still start these threads, for whatever reasons.
