POLL: Would a LIKE button for posts be useful here

After 3 years of trial, Last week, I just suppressed the Like functionality from a major urban architecture forum
The reason is that it generated a lot of violent confrontations and arrogance on controversial issues no matter how subjective these were
and that was just architectural tastes backed by anonymous Likes
Now I let you imagine the mess induced by introducing likes here... moderators will have to hang on tight here
