Agree with you regarding the heels - the only other option I'd suggest is looking at the screenshot gallery before purchasing - you can often see if the shoes come off before the end or are still present.

Yeah screenshot is very helpful for what clothing is kept on through the scene but some scenes still miss the heels in the gallery as well.
