I miss them. They were the best this site had to offer. All the movies these days aren't half as good as Sineplex CZ and Sineplex SOS were.

Yes. Discontinued. Producer got fired.
Quite a few posters here, including me, miss the old Sineplex productions.
Luckily we still have some scenes from Mr Ananas.

Hi Avanfurwet, good day to you. Is Mr Ananas a director?

I was involved with Sineplex in Russia and Mexico. Never worked with Sineplex CZ, although that's really just the name xxx has chosen for the early output from the studio we now call Gonzo, from the days when Sineplex was fully integrated with LP.

There was a split in 2014 or 2015 (I can't remember which year it was now) and that's how we ended up with two separate studios, "Sineplex SOS" which operated in Russia and Mexico and then folded a few years ago, and "Gonzo" which still operates today in Prague.

After Sineplex crashed and burned, I decided to take some time away from porn. Within the past year, I have been planning a comeback as a solo producer, which started with some test scenes that I published here recently (with Marley Brinx), but COVID fucked everything up, so now I'm planning a number of separate ventures which will allow me to produce scenes in both Prague and the U.S. After those have been put into motion, I will step back for a bit, watch how each of my ventures fare, and then continue with the ones that are successful.

I don't want to commit to specific details right now because everything is so delicate and subject to change. For example, I had originally planned to shoot in Florida over the summer, but that plan was totally ripped to shreds thanks to the insane rate of COVID in Florida at that time.

Anyway, Sineplex is no more because the man behind it, the fabled "SOS", no longer has any association with LP.

The guy was good for sure but we had to let him go. He was threatening us all the time during moments of madness for no reason. Then there was the payment fiasco. And lastly some allegations from models. And even though they were questionable it was already too much. Too bad because I would have gladly kept him and he would be making a lot of money today. I learned a lot from the guy. Ultimately the real problem was his substance abuse. It can and will destroy anyone's life.

Well said. You nailed it on all of those points.

I do want to take a moment to acknowledge that SOS is the reason I am able to participate in the industry today. I've said this a few times in the past, but never in the language that it deserves.

SOS took a chance on me. He was the only one willing to give me a seat at the table, even though I was completely unproven and had no experience at all, and he did it purely on the basis of my enthusiasm. He was the one who taught me the rules of the industry and the tricks of the trade, who waited patiently while I was still learning and absorbed the losses of my efforts that didn't pan out as expected, and who introduced me to many of the industry people I am now privileged to know and maintain as contacts. (I even had an hour-long phone conversation with Greg Lansky at one point, which was entirely down to SOS. Long story... Nothing ever came of it, but it did happen, and that was a very exciting day for me.)

I had been actively trying to wiggle my way into the industry for a long time before SOS took notice of me, so I would have eventually been able to make that happen somehow, but without SOS's guidance, I am certain that I would have crashed and burned immediately. Porn ain't as easy as it looks, at least if you want to do it well, and in retrospect I realize that I had absolutely no clue what I was talking about or how any of this works until SOS gave me the chance to learn from experience.

I'm not the only one either. He mentored a lot of great talents who got their start thanks to his guidance, including Jay Sin, Omar, and some other names you probably don't know who are just as talented and "felt", even if you may not know who they are.

He definitely had personal problems and that soured things between us towards the end. Sineplex's demise was entirely his own fault, and that's especially sad because he put years of time and energy into building that studio and maintaining the standards of the concept, but the fact remains that I would not be here without him and I will always be grateful for his mentorship.

Its a privelege to talk to you. You treat outsiders to industry like your own. You're a class act, Mr Ananas, & I'm delighted to be in acquantance with you. Also, I appreciate your taking time to respond. Ultimate respect from me. Cheers Brother.

Sometimes I just drive down coast, St Johns point, Donegal, Ireand... & it all works itself out. Thanks.

I appreciate the history lesson. I had a few of those details but didn't have it all tied together like that.

Yes, so interesting. Would like to know even more, but I think that XXX and Mr Ananas (ex Evil Pinapple) won't reveal more details. Thanks, anyway.
I remember the first SINEPLEX productions in DVD with series like Wiska's Perversions.

A shame. Used to be some good scenes - would love to see that stuff in the 4K era.

Indeed. Maybe at least we could get good old scenes from Sineplex Classic remastered? I would definietly pay for seeing them in HD/4K. They are available mostly in SD only, and I believe they had to be shot in higher res. End even if not, Bangbros made great remaster of their old movies shot back in early 2000's in 4K. I have no idea how, but yes, movies do look so much better.

Quite the shame indeed! Didn't become a member until all this was discontinued but I have gone back and watched enough. Russians and Eastern Europeans (Katrin Tequila, Angie Moon) US girls just north of Mexico (Megan Rain, Maddy O'Reilly) and in today's environment would have Colombians and Brazilians too.

Could have been quite the world domination in porn with Natasha in Colombia, Yummy Estudios in Brazil, Prague as the homebase and NRX in Russia.

What could have been. Good content and they went 4K much earlier than most in 2016
