I'm gonna draw a parallel to the act of murder,
murdering, is horrible. murdering is cowardly, murdering is wrong. etc,
but through the eyes of an artist, it can look cool, it can be a story of sacrifice and bravery, etc.
It is just a matter of making it look good, and perspective.
like... movies about murder, are the best selling movies. these movies make billions, lol.
Just because no one has made a molester movie,
that makes you think "huh, I guess it can be sexy"
doesn't mean, nobody can't do it.
It's kinda like, pissing or prolapse porn. I just don't get it, but other people do.
I'm just mind blown, when people come up to the forum
to say "wouldn't be cool if..."
and directors shoot them down without ever trying.
ugh!
Disagree. I think it's a dumb idea to make "molestation" scenes in western porn.
Just because you can do something doesn't make it a good idea. It's not rocket science. Abusing people is wrong. Exalting sex crimes is not cool or sexy.
If you make a film about the bad consequences of murder, or rape, or stalking and molesting women, IMO that's legitimate storytelling.
If you make a film glorifying such acts you risk inspiring idiots to try their luck against unwilling victims because they think it's "cool" to abuse people.
Most people watch horror movies to be horrified. But I don't think they fantasise about the ghastly events depicted on screen actually happening to them, nor that they would inflict this on others. They are voyeurs titillating themselves by watching someone else's misfortune.
Most people don't watch porn to be horrified. They watch porn to get excited. Maybe they fantasise about participating with the people in the porn they watch.
That's why some of these Japanese porn scenes seem to me so very wrong. They enact creepy immature molestation/rape sex-crime fantasies of inadequate salarymen.
People should be horrified by sex crimes, not excited to fantasise about committing sex crimes themselves.
Somehow these creepy porn fantasy genres seem to thrive in regimented, compliant, law-abiding Japanese society.
Maybe the salarymen mostly keep their guilty fantasies to themselves and don't try to act them out?
But IMO promoting these ugliest and creepiest Japanese genres of "entertainment" in the more chaotic liberal west is a very bad idea.
We already have huge societal problems with real-life abuse by idiots including domestic violence, stalking, date-rape, revenge porn, etc. etc.
We already have perps trying to blame porn in their defence, claiming their behaviour was inspired by porn and they "thought it was OK" and their victims would "enjoy it really".
Porn producers are already targets for zealous public prosecutors and religious/conservative politicians seeking to make a name for themselves.
Why would you set out to make things worse?
