What Constitutes "Good" XXX Business???

Just scanned through this article on XBIZ: 2020 Europa Awards Nominees.

Made me wonder what constitutes "award-winning" business. I rarely anymore buy adult content from the USA (& never France), barring a few exceptions from some favorite self-shot amateurs on some of the web sites. Mainly, it's pretty much ONLY LegalPorno & its associated labels & STARLETS who I support. Because LP is a clear standout to me in terms of hardcore quality, in a XXX universe that (IMO) has been steadily diminishing in hardcore quality.

I see Giorgio and Julia Grandi's names among the nominees, but few or none of who I consider to be pornworld's greatest XXX performers. You know who I mean. The girls whose performances appear on this site.

Is it just a matter of politics? Self-congratulations among a small inner circle? Or kowtowing to distribution muscle? Because to me, these lists appear to have little to do with recognizing the kind of hardcore eroticism that defines good & lasting XXX in the first place.

Just my opinion.

I am surprised they mentioned even LP or sb related to LP.
For me they do it all for themselves and are very US.
Almost irrelevant for Europorn I'd say.

These awards are bullshit and the winners are set up in advance by the organizers, not by any votes. The nominations don’t reflect the reality of the euro biz and many nominees don’t deserve it (I’m including myself on that list) and others that deserve it, are not there.
