I find the download speeds from Pornbox to be generally pretty slow. Over the years it’s been up and down but the last few months I found it to be annoyingly slow.

I’ve just been downloading a 1080p scene with Mina and I’m getting 2.9MB/Sec

I have 500Mbps connection, so in theory I should be able to reach 59.6MB/Sec.

When I download from other sites (Like PB) I get +30MB/Sec.

Am I the only one that finds it too slow and annoying?

Don't know. I seldom download. Streaming works well. Even 4k most of the time but I can't see any difference.

What annoys me is that when I stop the player. It struggles to get started again. I have found a fix which is to click on a different resolution to get it started again. Anyone with similar probs?

I haven’t checked actual download speeds but it usually takes me only a few minutes to download scenes in HD format.

What's PB?

In addition to your own internet connection, I think download/streaming speeds could vary with time of day, other traffic on the network, and your distance from the host server.

PB = Premium Bukkake

Totally agree with you but even on the best day speeds sre still shite. Streaming is ok though.

I have slow download speed and network failures many time but i think it has more to do about their servers being overloaded, specially when the release popular scenes.

Remember too that no matter how fast you can download, then need to push that same amount on their server's side for you to reach your max download speed, they probably lock it at a specific speed for everyone to avoid overloads
