The Times They Are a-Changin' (trans pic for Giorgio studio)

Ooh I see that LP has changed the main studio photo for Giorgio to a trans pic. This feels like quite a pivotal moment. I don't think you can say that's just an incidental thing. There's definitely a lot of thought has gone into that. For new members in particular that would be quite a defining entry point. It pretty much says "this is a trans porn studio" or at the very least "this is principally a trans porn studio". If I was a new LP user I'm pretty sure that would be a red light for me with that studio as I don't have any interest in trans porn.

What do people think about this? Like I say, I have no interest in trans porn but nor do I have any desire to be some King Canute figure trying to resist a marketing change that Giorgio and LP obviously deem to be a good idea. It is what it is but I'd be interested how LP users view it (I assume I'm not the first person to notice, although I don't see any other discussion about this).

Personally I think it would be a much better idea for Giorgio to have a separate studio labelled Giorgio Trans or something and thus use 2 separate photo tags but I'm fairly sure that he wants to blur the boundaries and won't consider that.

Yes I do have trans turned off but there's still something odd about clicking on a trans pic to look for non-trans porn. I'm sure the reverse is true also.

I noticed too. Also not a trans fan but not transphobic either - live and let live.

Strange move though I agree. I guess GG is the only studio shooting trans so if LP want to advertise that it’s part of their portfolio it needs to be displayed somewhere.
But having that as the ‘shop window’ will surely reduce traffic to the studio to some degree. Or maybe there are more trans fans than squeamish types who’ll skip it. Who knows?

money is king and he is making bank on his trans scenes. Nobody else is making trans porn in this style of sex.

I would suspect he is going to increase production if he can find enough girls who want to come to prague

i understand people who do not watch trans porn are a bit worried GG will slow down producing straight scenes and that is a legitimate concern. But, we shall see what he does

just my view.

I can agree that changing the GG studio logo to a trans pic can be misleading, but longtime users know that aren't just trans scenes from GG studio.

Whether they're good or bad... well, check out the best sellers for August.
Until those scenes sell so good... they don't care of what you think. There is a more than a good marketing reason. And I don't think they need your marketing advices. It's simple.

Those who don't want to watch scenes with TS ... can watch other scenes from other studios, this I think can partly favor new studios like N&F, NT production.

Although I wonder where are those who don't want to watch trans scenes, given how they sell in such a short time. XD

I wasn't interested in trans before but when Giorgio shot with Natalie Mars I thought I'd give it a try. For me it is not about being phobic or not. I just wanted to know if i would get a hard on or not.
I don't get hard on gay porn. I have nothing against it but apparently I am not wired for it.

I also do not get turned on by seeing my sister naked. I think that is valid for most people except that now in the US everything is about step family which is just one small step from family. I find this more strange than trans porn. Why would you want to fuck family members? Sure I can understand if there is a niche. There are niches for everything, but family porn seem to be the norm now in the US.

I am not especially attracted to people with a penis but if a tgirl is very feminine, not all are, my brain sees her as a woman. Then when she fucks one of the girls, I just view it as that girl getting fucked by a penis.

So the conclusion for me is that I am not specifically attracted to tgirls but when Giorgio has made a great and nasty scene including a tgirl and other women I would buy it based on other qualities.

Even though it might be slightly off-topic, please do allow me to explain, as someone who is a big fan of (some) family-themed porn.

"I also do not get turned on by seeing my sister naked." Neither do I (Well, I don't know your sister, but you know what I mean ;-) ).

The kick for me ist not the fantasy of fucking someone related to me, but of fucking women who are related to each other at the same time, and maybe even have them interact - which usually means either sisters, or mother/daughter.

I readily confess that this never happened to me in real life. The nearest I got to it was, about nine years after an encounter of some months with her mom (then in her mid-twenties), I got to fuck the daughter, who in the meantime had become of age. This was the hottest thing ever, and not only because both were excellent fucks in their own right.

Since then m/d is a favourite phantasy of mine. I wish I had at least seriously tried to get mom in bed with us as well, back then (I even talked about it with the daughter, and she was extremely turned on by the thought). Of course, the small age difference between them (mom got her as a very young single mom) was a plus. The thought of doing two blood-related sisters turns me on nearly as much.

Only writing this to point out that those who are into "family porn" are not necessarily interested in their own family.

There has to be a new category of misunderstanding when someone stares at the pictures for the studios, look at them for years, and don't realizes they always show the best-selling scene of the studio of all time, and writes a giant post about how that was a choice when it was clearly determinated automatically.

I'm using misunderstanding to not use stronger words towards you people.

This is maybe the best post on this board, ever.

That's an automatic process done by the site's algorithm. It picks the most popular video in the studio as the studio thumbnail. Seeing that change means that Natalie Mars' scene is at the moment the most popular scene for Giorgio studio.

Good for Giorgio for having the courage to make content which turns out to be best-selling despite all the crying from the haters.

There are good business reasons for providing on/off filters for customers who just don't want to see major genres (e.g. trans, gay, piss).
Personally I think the site owners could consider placing a few simple on/off filters on their tour landing pages without requiring registration, to encourage more views, but that's their business.

In this case I think the thumbnail was determined incorrectly because the trans filter clearly isn't working on the studios page, and that may trigger the phobes, again.
