Nacho Vidal is a porn legend, I would put him on the same level as Rocco Siffredi. Press in Spain is very sensationalist. What happened basically is that this photographer suffered a heart attack and died at Nacho's house. If someone die with you by taking some drug etc it doesn't mean you killed anyone. We'll see what the justice and the court say.

I thought it actually came out recently that he received a false positive for HIV, and was actually afflicted with misdiagnosed Reiter's syndrome.

That was a bullshit he said on media to clean his image 7 months later. The + hiv is real and he never showed a proof of a negative test from a lab. All the biz know that.

That's a risky move. Having HIV is unfortunate, but lying about having HIV is irresponsible. I'm sure the stigma and pressure of living as an HIV+ individual must be enormous, but I must say I am disappointed that Nacho would lie about that. There are HIV+ individuals in the porn industry who remain highly respected and valued, partly because of their integrity in a general sense, but partly because they have specifically never lied or misled others about their status.

He also lied publicly about other things, like about the test of the exposed girls that he said he paid to help them, which is not true. He paid nothing. I know who paid that. Dissapointing. But well, this topic is about the sapo and his detention, not about hiv issue.

I think it's relevant, as it paints him in a very self-centered and untrustworthy light. That will make a difference when he is tried for his involvement in this incident.

There are also active performers in the US who have HIV, but because the test they use in the US can give them a "negative" if their medications lower their viral load enough, they keep working. There is another test that can detect it even with those on medication, but the US industry has been resistant to it.

The argument from their perspective would be that because the viral load is low, they can not transmit. And that is fairly accurate. So as long as they keep testing negative they get to to work.

There are no performers outed for this, but rumors are out there in the industry and it is generally male performers who these swirl about.

PS - my comment is about the "straight" industry . Obviously the gay porn in US openly accept HIV positive performers and if they can get a negative test due to their viral load they are allowed to do bareback.

I don’t think so. The medication is for the viral load. To make it clear; our test shows 2 hiv results, viral load and antibodies. The antibodies test always shows positive no matter the medication you take. In straight porn nobody is working with hiv.

The US industry testing uses a test that will not detect your HIV if your viral load is "undetectable". They have been fighting to not do the antibodies test you refer to.

Not trying to argue with you sir, but you should check into that more.

So name these people you claim are hiding their HIV+ status.

No way, I did shoot performers with their test made in US and it shows viral load and antibodies.
