Feature for comment/highlighting top-moments in scenes?

Postby zeusanalfreak299 » Sat May 30, 2020 2:15 pm

Has there been a discussion about a feature/function for commenting/highlighting specific moments in a scene?
Several online services use this feature, for example soundcloud.

Directors could see which moments/sex positions/acting-aspects in their movies are the top-notch-favourites and use this "bigdata" for their future work.
Would it be possible to implement this feature in the player or is there a web player which already has this feature?
I think it could also be something very simple, because just the function itself would be awesome. It could be just a Like-emogi (y). The distribution of the Likes (y) in the timeline would show which moments or sex positions are more popular and requested. It could generate (im my opinion) a huge benefit and mirror the customer need, because just buying a scene doesn´t provide detailed information to directors and the management about different aspects which (maybe) have the most important influence on the decision to buy a scene (buy-impulse).

BTW: Scene is SZ2076 (my favourite) with Florane ;)
Guys, what do you think about this?

I wouldn’t be surprised if they already monitor streaming drop-off on the back end.

While that system is fun on Soundcloud, the last thing I want to see while I’m streaming is what other people think about it, so it would need a setting to turn it off.

Interesting idea. There are however some possible objections. Besides of being a very subjective matter, a scene cannot sussist of highlights only and, more important, different models, different skills, different results by performing a "highlight" moment. You cannot simply replicate a great moment. What I find more relevant is the overall flow and tension: I find more exciting a scene with a high average level, rather than one with a low level and a few highlights.

On SoundCloud you can turn the feature ON and OFF. The default setting could be OFF, so it would not affect the user experience of people like you who don’t care about it. My idea was not about changing something, just to add a simple feature for those who could find it interesting.

I agree with you. It is very complex and complicated. And it is not about highlights only. But I’m sure that this information could in form of BigData provide a useful summarized feedback with tendencies and trends.

Example: If 8.000 of 10.000 viewers LIKE the moment of a nice DP closeup in a scene which is focused on DAP, it could mean that the 8.000 people like the DP moment within the scene more than other moments with DAP. And maybe because of constantly cockrubbing without any energy or passion. So the messages could be „avoid DAP with just slow cockrubbing“ or „choose the same position for DAP equal to DP“ with the conclusion „DAP alone is not enough“.

We have different needs, that’s why there will stay a contrast. It won’t result in a monotone style. The best thing could be that maybe just the top-notch moments could be replicated.

The key is to analyze this data with the right techniques, but maybe there already are algorithms, methods within the tools which can do it.
