I’ve recently made some research about PrEP, signed-up for it myself and wanted to ask how prevalent it is straight porn industry? Do male/female pornstars are aware and take it?

If taken daily or event-based, it reduces the risk of contracting hiv by 99%+ and because of generics available it’s super cheap (~30 pounds per month in europe vs 1,000+ $ in usa)

To me it would seem like it could be part of contract for actors or some kind of a additional benefit of working for a studio, because it would solve a lot of issues (for example the lockdown in europe that happened a while ago) and protect the actors better

Yes. Prep is beneficial to everyone at risk of hiv. But especially to people whom have lots of unsafe sex and/or lots of sexual partners.
With pornstars testing seems very on point and those outbreaks happen seldom, but still prep would make things much safer. Cause lets face it anal sex and anal creampies are super hot but its the most riskful type of sex.
